The hotel lobby and conference areas were freezing. Atlanta was experiencing a cold snap, but it seemed that the hotel didn't have heat. The bathroom in the conference area was downright frigid. We also had a dirty comforter when we checked in. We had to call multiple times and take the dirty comforter to the front desk to get anyone's attention. The restaurants and food were excellent, and their staff was attentive and kind. The conference staff was also great.

Conference stay

The room was very nice, spotless. Only thing wrong was the little fridge had an absolutely horrible smell. I didn't have to put anything in it except bottled water. If i'd had any food products, i would have called to gave it replaced.

Overall an awful experience -- it was like one inconvenience after another. Definitely the worst Marriott experience I've ever had. The first two nights our fire alarm went off for hours -- no-one will answer the phones at the front desk, so we went down to the front desk at 7pm to let them know. No-one came to the room to fix it until 11:30 pm. 4.5 hours of beeping alarms...Are you kidding me? Then it happened again the very next night. Good luck getting your room cleaned - we had to go down for towels repeatedly and ask for our room to be serviced, which still didn't happen on 3 of the 8 nights. No wifi and the TV also didn't work in our room. 35 minute line to check in. Honestly, the list could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

The hotel is nice. My only complaint is that I waited for about 3 hours to get face cloths and warmer blankets after calling down and even speaking with someone on the phone 2x. I think they should also stock the mini fridge with waters for guest.

On the first day, someone came and took our trash and gave us new supplies like towels and TP. After that, no one ever came to take care of the room. And the absolute worst part was, we could not get ahold of anyone in any department for the entire evening ALL WEEK. The phone would just ring and ring. This was apparently the case with all of the neighboring rooms as well because they all started piling up trash and dirty towels outside in the hallway. Also, the tv didn’t work at all for 2 of the nights and only sporadically after that. But guess what? Can’t call anyone to help because no one at the front desk or housekeeping or room service answers. I spoke with a manager who did give us 2 nights free and was very nice but my goodness I would have just rather had a bare minimum of service to begin with. To put a cherry on top, one of us went downstairs one of the nights because they wouldn’t answer the phone and we needed towels, tp and Kleenex and the guy at the front desk filled two trash bags with random supplies and handed them to her to drag through the hotel instead of offering to send someone up with everything. It was just a really frustrating experience overall and I hope they figure out how to do better.
