Dear Peter,
thank you for taking the time to review our Hotel Excelsior. We regret to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay at our property. It is true that we offer valet parking for 36 euros per day and we want to point out that this is our safest option: secure covered parking and in and out privileges from 8:00 AM till midnight. At the same time you have the possibility to park on the street on the right on the left of our entrance but of course this is not covered by our insurance. Regarding the cost for the beach, we would like to remind you that the rates vary basing on the position of our cabanas which include two loungers, chairs and a table, a changing room, towels and the comfort of having the possibility to order from our beach service without having to leave the shade of the cabana. In case our guests prefer, our loungers by the swimming pool are free of charge. Maybe you would like to try one of our beach packages next time which includes the cabanas and many other benefits.

Gammal interiör. Bla hårtork, strömbrytare och möbler.
Frukosten var en sockerbomb.
Middagen var under all kritik.
Vi åt ute resterande kvällar trots halvpension.
Vi betalade 77 euro! för en sallad och en club sandwich som även de var katastrofala.
Hotellet tog betalt när vi checkade ut för båtresa in och ut från venedig så kallade "venice city tax".

We regret to learn that you did not enjoy your stay at our historic and unique property and that the vast and high qualitiy offer of our buffet was not to your satisfaction.
Even though our hotel is certainly not a recent structure, we do our utmost to assure our guests every comfort for their holiday in Venice Lido and we would have been more than happy to find a solution that would have been more correspondant to your expecations. Unfortunately we were not aware of your disappointment during your stay.
For the benefit of our readers, we want to point out that our shuttle boat from and to St. Mark's Square is completely free of charge and at our in-house guests' disposal. The Venice City Tax you found on your bill at the check-out is a tourist accommodation tax due to the city of Venice which is used by the local authorities for maintenance, use and restoration of local cultural and environmental heritage and local public services.

Hotell med schysst poolhäng!
Inskickad 4 aug. 2016 på HotelsLyxigt hotell intill strand. Dock ligger hotellet en aning off från centrum, men inte längre än cirka 10-15 minuters promenad dit. Bra service av personal, schysst pool-område, gym, restaurang. Dock dyrt med dryck! Trevliga hotellrum, men vi fick ett rum där AC väsnades på tok för mycket. Wifi fungerade bra på rummen, utanför vid pool dock dåligt. Parkerade bra och gratis på lokalgata alldeles intill hotellet.
Plus: Bra frukost/lunch. Fri transport med båt till/från Venedig. Personal. Pool.
Minus: Överpriser på dryck.

Fantastiskt hotell

Fantastiskt Hotel Från Svunna Tider
Inskickad 11 juli 2016 på HotelsDet enda vi har synpunkter på är att drycker som inte ingår är prisade över rimlighet, tex Espresso Euro 9, ett glas vin Euro 18 o absolut inte prisvärt. En grym lyx var de fantastiska båtar som gick var 30 min in t centrala Venedig, ingick i rummet o gick fr 0900-0000. Fantastiskt !
