A fairly basic hotel, but no major issues

The hotel room felt a bit like stepping into the 1970s, including the air conditioner, but everything was clean and worked well and the beds were reasonably comfortable. We had a problem one day getting room service to clean the room late on a day when we due to illness had to remain in the room until the afternoon. The rooms overlook a side street on one side and a parking lot on the other; at least our room was quiet with no noise from the street or other rooms. The included breakfast was fairly basic, with three types of cereals, cooled boiled eggs, toast, bagels (which we thought were a tad dry though), yoghurt, a pancake machine, and various juices as well as tea and coffee. There's a streetcar stop outside the front door so it's easy to get around, and bus 22 just around the corner takes you to Coxwell subway station (or you can take the streetcar east two stops and take the 92 to Woodbine). Woodbine beach is about a 15 minute walk away. There's not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there's a good Harvey's which also serve Swiss Chalet chicken, a sushi place, and a Subway's, as well as an ice cream place almost next door. Across Kingston road there are a couple of convenience stores which sell an assortment everything from milk to 3-in-1 oil and scissors.

Trevligt och bra ställe.

Bra motell med en god frukost. Bussar som går in till centrum precis utanför. Nära till stranden. Kan rekommendera detta boende!

Hotell nära strand och grönområde mitt i Toronto.

Bra läge nära strand och skatepark och hyfsat nära downtown Toronto. Enkelt att åka spårvagn till centrum på ca 20 min.

Positive surprise in Toronto

Great hotel, excellent price for product. Although accommodation seems at first out dated, it was a real positive surprise. Very clean, spacious room, excellent comfortable and not too soft bed, good breakfast, very friendly and service oriented staff, parking next to hotel. Reasonably easy to find, about 5km from downtown (walkable)
