Nöjda!!!

Förtjänar verkligen sina 5 stjärnor!! Extremt fint hotell men det bästa var nog fall service. Extremt bra personal som alltid tänkte på gästernas bästa!! Kommer definitivt bo här igen när vi kommer tillbaka till Sydney.

Great location but service was mediocre

Good hotel in Darling Harbour which is a nice area for eating and shopping. Spacious rooms with great view of the harbour area. Especially liked the bathrooms and the fact that there were plenty of power outlets to charge devices in. Service from bell boys was good but front desk was uninterested and not especially well-informed. Tried breakfast once which was good and price worthy. Pool area was quite boring and not so well kept (dirty). Gym was OK with lots of cardio machines but less free weights. Lobby area quite boring and not so fun to hang out in for a drink or similar. Cleaning was mediocre and "uneven". Sometimes we got two new towels each, sometimes only one. Sometimes shower gel was not replaced and when we checked in bath amenities were not replaced from previous guests. Safe did not work.

Great location and immaculate hotel. Didn’t like the knock on the door in the morning for “checking mini bar” from the staff although I had turned on “Do Not Disturb” button.

Family stay

It was a family getaway, the room was very comfortable with amazing views of the harbour. The hotel is well placed, very close to all the restaurants & entertainments. The service was impressive. All the staffs were very friendly, accommodating, efficient & professional. Overall experience was amazingly awesome. We would come back again.

Always feels special staying at the Sofitel Darling Harbour. The staff are wonderful, always helpful and visible, anticipating your needs. The pool is great, the Champagne bar served us excellent cocktails, and the club sandwich from room service is delicious!

Cons: # It is expensive: 500 AUD a night for 2 double beds. # Our room faces West, the sun is at its peak in the afternoon. The room is hot. The air conditioning is not enough to cool the room in the afternoon. Can only go down to 18 Deg C # Parking and bottled water is not included. Additional 86 AUD per night parking. Pro: # The hotel is new and clean. # Concierge service is excellent. The rest is average.
