When we arrived, they told us that we were upgraded to a better room then we paid for. This was not the case, we got a room we paid for and noting else. We paid for a suite in adjacent building and thats what we got. But the pictures lied a LOT. The room wasn't that nice as the pictures are shown. The room was filthy and had a bad odour. There was a lot of small mosqitous in the bathroom ceiling, we found blood stains on the bed sheets. It didnt feel clean at all. Don't mind paying for breakfast. You will find a better one somewhere else. The continental is just toast, youghurt and some sad looking fruit and cheese. We tried to order the waffles two mornings, and they didn't had any, and it took like 10 minutes before they told us that they didnt have any. The last morning when we orderd the waffles they just had one waffle left, so we said we didnt want it, TWICE, and they still served it to us and it was tasted weird and was hard in the middle. One of staff was pretty rude and ignorante. The staff that is working in the dining/bar area is just running around and it's like they don't know what they are doing.

I am very sorry your experience with us was unsatisfactory and substandard. We have not managed to meet let alone exceed your expectations which is what we ultimately aim for with all our guests. I like to apologise to you for the issues you encountered during your stay as we have received some glowing reviews about the staff, food and service in general which makes it disappointing that we could not provide you with the same levels of service and hospitality. I will use your feedback to review all aspects of the business that were lacking and I can promise you we will learn from this and make sure these issues will not arise again. Charming and the heated pools were good. However the room we got have very small windows up towards the ceiling, hence dark and stuffy.

Princes Gate Hotel är verkligen ett toppenhotell! Vänlig, hjälpsam och proffsig personal, fina, rens rum med ett toppenläge i Rotorua men ändå lugnt. Jag rekommenderar det varmt. Allt du kan önska dig.

Ett trevligt hotell som jag kan rekommendera. Enda minus var frukosten och måttligt road personal som jobbade där...
