Quest Palmerston

Plenty of room, and good room facilities. Staff interaction was minimal but very helpful. Secure parking. Some outside noice at night but overall a good place to stay overnight.

The property is a bit dated. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were not particularly helpful, providing limited information on checkin and unable to answer questions about the carpark. Also, the safe in our room did not work and needed a new battery, but the reception staff didn't know how to do it. They advised that maintenance would come and sort it out the next day. They did not, in spite of follow-up queries. In any case, the safe was not secured, so was not a good place for valuables!!

The king bed was dreadful. We woke up sore every morning and didn’t have good night s sleep while there. Only had block out blinds in bedroom so the light from the shopping Centre across the room came through around the edges made room very light. No TV in bedroom.
