Romantic charming bungalow, yoga, snorkelling
Inskickad 24 juli 2015 på HotelsBeautiful view from the hotel situated on the hillside/cliffs at the bay. Charming bungalows with kitchen, no wall at all towards the scenic view over the bay. The bed was in a corner of the bungalow within glass doors and windows with curtains to use for privacy, ac and wardrobe in bedroom. Thanks to the hillside location with a small garden, the outdoors wc and shower felt private and comfortable. Can watch the bay while showering!
Service was great, easy to get help with print out boat tickets, they carry your bags, shuttle service to the village and ferry terminal. It's a very steep slope to walk up the hotel! Better use the shuttle. Free yoga class in the morning. Nice restaurant and they have chocolate cake :-)
There's a beach just below the hotel, the blue lagoon. To much waves for me but it's a good place for snorkelling.
A lot of great snorkelling sites nearby.
This hotel had a much to modest presentation on hotels.com! If we had known it was so beatifully located, the most charming bungalows with big cosy sofa to watch the sunset, great service, we would have booked a longer stay!

Kanske inte värt priset. Finns bättre mer prisvärda alternativ.

Hotell med ekotänk utan att tumma på lyxen!

Vi hade en villa som låg med direkt utsikt över havet och satt och njöt på villans altan många kvällar. Det är ett hotell med eko-tänk i allt det gör vilket innebär att de odlar det mesta av maten som de serverar själva, försöker återvinna vatten till sina odlingar och mycket mycket mer. Det var otroligt lugnt och fint och personalen är mycket trevlig. Det faktum att hotellet ligger på en kulle gör det till lite mer av en utmaning att ta sig till och från stadens centrum om man vill - om inte så erbjuder de en gratis biltjänst som kan köra en ner till centrum.. För att komma hemma ber man bara stället man besöker att ringa dem så blir man hämtad också. Superlätt och bra! Maten på stället är god, men tyvärr kan de ibland erbjuda saker på menyn som inte riktigt överensstämmer med den mat man i slutändan får. (Ngt annan kryddning och så ex.) Hotellet erbjuder också chaufförer som man kan hyra timvis/halv dag/hel dag till oerhört bra priser, vilket gjorde det lätt att utforska övriga delar av ön. Poolen och poolområdet är urfint och i bra skick! Vi passade även på att pröva Bloo Spiral SPA och det var väl värt pengarna! Allt som allt hade vi en fantastisk vecka på detta hotell!

We enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning. Padangbai is a quieter and seemingly more authentic area in Bali. We managed a number of good scuba diving excursions. There is an amazing snorkling beach with beautiful corals and fish literally 5 minutes from Bloo Lagoon. In fact it's called Bloo Lagoon Beach.
We can recommend Bloo Lagoon Eco Village as a place to stay but know what you are signing up for. The biggest short coming is the lack of air conditioning and Bali is hot and humid. Sleeping in this heat can be uncomfortable. Secondly, this is not a house. The walls don't extend to the roof meaning that the bugs are free to enter. We didn't really have a problem with bugs and the beds are covered by mosquito netting but the experience is much closer to glamping then it is to a resort. Amenities were basic but sufficient.

What an amazing place!! The views from the room were nothing other than stunning. You wake up to see the sea and mountains! It's so peaceful too.
The staff were great. Very accommodating also. Dining is exceptional! Breakfast also. I cannot think of a bad word to say about the place.
The pool is lovely. Slide is also good fun. The shuttle bus is very handy given the somewhat steep hill up from the town.
