This was my 10th time staying there, and it is always such a wonderful place to stay. It’s much more peaceful there than places closer to the tourist areas. But you can still easily access them.

Nothing was wrong with the property. The only issue was the elevator was broken, but then it was fixed pretty quickly.

Inskickad 21 jan. 2024 på HotelsThis is a grand hotel from the old days. With that, the rooms are smaller than you may expect in a suburban hotel. Parking is valet only at $50 per day plus tips. They park your car next door in a lot that charges the general public the same price.
Breakfast can be had in the formal dining room buffet style at $20 per head. No lunch or dinner is available and eating choices in the area are limited.
If you are touring the city, a tour bus stops one block east of the hotel.
A unique feature of the hotel is the PB&J sandwiches at 4pm, a tradition since 1988.
There is a 1920s style bar in the lobby but no pub food.
The hotel is about one mile from the center of the French Quarter and Bourbon St.
