Very convenient to the city.
We arrived shortly before 2pm check in and were advised our apartment was not ready as housekeeping were running behind and could we come back in 15 mins. Which was not a problem and came back 25 mins later and after a small wait our apartment was ready.
We had booked a 2 bedroom executive apartment. The 'apartment ' had 2 doors and we couldn't access either door with the card, housekeeping were still on the floor and they let us in one of the doors which turned out to be a studio apartment and the other a 1 bedroom apartment, which is not what we had booked and paid in advanced for.
The 1 bed apartment smelt of smoke, our shoes stuck to the floor and the kitchen was grimey. The studio apartment had hair on the bathroom floor.
Returned to reception to lodge a complaint to be informed by the manager that they were fully booked and couldn't move us. After further discussion's, he offered us to reclean the 'apartments ' to which we stated that the smell of smoke would still be there. He then offered us 2 one bedroom apartments. After discussing the matter privately we were going to accept these apartments when suddenly a 2 bedroom apartment became 'available '. We inspected this apartment and we satisfied but this is the apartment that we booked and paid for in the first place.
The apartment was comfortable albiet lacking in utensils in the kitchen and very tired in the fixture and fittings
Will rethink staying here again in the future

Very spacious as a 2 bedroom apartment. Great value, fantastic location for the theatre. Friendly helpful staff. A new favourite for Melbourne staycations.

This is a fantastic location but the rooms could be cleaner and the fans in the bathroom and ensuite were not working. I would recommend getting a room with a balcony view. Overall it was a great stay.

The location was the best thing about the property and the view from the 27th floor.
The room wasn’t clean there was mud on the walls, the kitchenette had water damage. There was no smoke alarm in the room that was working (which I thought was illegal) it had obviously been taken away as the sign on the sensor said “not working until replaced”. The bed was ok but very old as the mattress’ had sunk in the middle so it wasn’t really a king size bed it was just two singles shoved together. The lighting in the bathroom was so bad you couldn’t see to do make up. Only one lift was working which is fine, but you didn’t have to scan to get to your floor so anybody can go anywhere, which is not secure or safe. The carpets in the lift lobby were all torn and just had tape covering up the holes. It was overall ok just not to the standard you’d expect from an oaks

It was so close to great shopping and just around the corner from the Princess Theatre.
