Check in was easy when we first arrived. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The room was clean but maybe a little outdated. The morning buffet was great but a little pricey. Frank our server at the buffet provided us with great information about the island and recommended we stay at Poipu until sunset to watch the turtles. The beach at our resort was good to walk along but not a swimming or snorkeling beach. We really enjoyed our time at the resort.

The buildings are tired. It looks like there might be some renovations going on. The name is changing so maybe new ownership. It is very clean and honestly the outdoor property is gorgeous.
You can not walk anywhere you definitely need a car.
We had a vandalism issue with our rental car. They cut our gas line in the secured parking lot of the resort.
From what we understand from local police, it happens frequently to steal the gas. This was a stroke of bad luck for us and cost us to repair the rental.
However, Chris the manager was very helpful and made up for the costs by comping our parking.

Not good
Inskickad 23 jan. 2024 på HotelsThe front desk staff were very rude and not welcoming. The bed and bellows not comfortable. We saw many German cockroaches in the room. Breakfast not good and over priced. The beach is all rocks
No place to swim. Pools not heated.

Black mold in room and bathroom. Rusted lamps, table. Smells moldy in room..

It was just an overnight stay for us, but we were disappointed there was no microwave in the room. Other than that, the staff were wonderful to work with and the room was clean and welcoming.
