Overall a bit far out of town. Privacy was short of what you'd expect for the price and proximity to other tents. Big disappointment was the staff on check-in. Not helpful. Recommend food and drink shop b4 arrival as located out of town.

Thank you for your review Simon. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Broome is a very small town but very spread out, this is why we send all out guests information on how to get the most out of their stay before arrival and during checkin. Our service is usually exceptional so we are very surprised to learn that your service on checkin was unhelpful. Please accept our sincere apologies for this, it is not acceptable by any means and we are fully investigating this. We do hope that you will choose to come back again so that we may provide you with the service excellence that you deserve.

Prize winner!

This Resort is outstanding from every point of reference from the checkin which was perfect, the grounds outstanding and beautiful, we booked the studio for one night and it was not only clean but beautiful and comfortable from all aspects linen through to wall paint it, ohhh an yes a coffee machine with pods, the room presented as if it had just been built and furnished. Well done, to the Billi Resort. After 3 weeks of flying our plane from Newcastle to Broome via Darwin and back through the middle of Oz and down the East Coast back home your establishment takes our prize praise as the top performer. Thank you Jan and Paul

Small but perfect resort

stylish,comfortable villa, well equipped with good, quiet air conditioning. Lovely gardens, beautiful pool in a secluded and quiet part of Cable Beach. Good communication and warm welcome from reception. Only small negative is that the open shower tends to saturate the entire bathroom. Highly recommend hiring a car for your stay.

The tents were freezing in the morning.No heating.No daily clean. We are now staying in the Mangrove cheaper and better all round

Thank you for leaving your feedback, we strive incredibly hard here to make every customer experience enjoyable and we’re really sorry we’ve not been able to meet your expectations this time. Our understanding is that it was unexpectedly cool at night during your stay which affected most of western australia at this time. This is the first time we have ever had poor feedback due to the weather and we certainly wish it wasn't so... As not only is the weather completely out of our control, but a review of this nature is incredibly damaging to our small, family owned business. Our luxury tents are equipped with plush beds and warm dooners, plus 2 additional blankets (just incase the temperature drops off during the night). Unfortunately it would be a risk to heat a tent due to its canvas structure. As a self-contained resort, servicing is not carried out daily, however we always do our very best for our guests and have plenty of amenities etc on hand if required. Additional servicing can also be requested.

Amazing Care for Guests, beautiful little oasis

So...this place is very lush and hidden away (its not walkable to the beach but many of the cable beach places arent). I stayed in a Queen tent - there are different types of tent, mine was newer and had airconditioning even though I didnt use it. The tent next to mine had sliding glass doors - not sure if that was a king though (which is apparently double the size). The Qs are compact but have everything you need with a lovely little outdoor area with its own BBQ, there is a tiny kitcnenette, a big bath and an outdoors shower. There was nothing staff wouldn't do to make your stay ideal...it is rare to find such genuine service . But I do have to be honest - tents are tents. Noise travels through them. Although The Billi is tranquil by day, there seems to be a major highway not too far away and Broome's favourite pasttime seems to be hooning at midnight...at least on Friday or Saturday. You are directly under a flight path, planes start at about 530am. And unlike wilderness tents with wide open spaces, you are not too far from your neighbours. I had to spend all day listening to a bridal party chatter as they prepared for the big day...lovely for them but not why I picked this "quiet" location. And it actually gets cold if you didnt pack the right pjs! So if you are light sleeper/noise bothers you, perhaps a villa would be better.

Thank you for staying with us Narelle and thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We're pleased to see that you were pleased with our service and that you enjoyed your stay in the Deluxe Queen Tent! Yes the tent next to yours was a King Tent (which is our most popular room type). Unfortunately tents aren't soundproof due to their canvas structure, so we would always recommend either a studio or villa for a light sleeper as these are soundproofed options. There is just one road near The Billi which is a minor road with light traffic (the speed limit is 50kms and there's no footpaths or even road markings), certainly no major highway. Also we are the furthest accommodation away from the flight path so i'm really surprised to read these comments in your review. I can only assume the early flights were RFDS as there are regulations about early flights due to the airport being positioned in the middle of town. If there was someone 'hooning' nearby we would've been contacting the police to investigate this matter. We certainly would like to see you back again and we would recommend you try one of our villas.

Hi Very friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable and clean with everything we needed to barbecue our dinner. Good shower which is always a plus!!

Beautiful grounds, peaceful location and safari tent to remember. Would definitely stay here again.
