Nice hotel in great location

Host was very welcoming and offered useful info upon my arrival. Was that way until I left. Very close to the Papal palace and other historic sites. Staying in an old building like this one enhances the ‘ancient’ Avignon experience.

Although we were only at Garlande for one night, it was a delight to stay in such an attractive historical hotel. Emmanuelle was a very welcoming host and saw to all our needs promptly. She provided a local map and recommended some nearby restaurants. She also provided a wonderful breakfast taking care to inquire about any food preferences. We would definitely stay there again.

It was enough to enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient capital, and the staff were friendly and very nice. To be honest, you might be a little nervous about the way to the hotel, so it might be a good idea to find out what kind of place it is on Google Maps etc. in advance. It may not be obvious, especially at night. However, this is not a problem with the hotel; it's a city that makes use of the roads of the ancient capital, so I thought it would be nice if a map of where you are is posted in the city itself in a way that doesn't spoil the scenery.

Very nice hotel with a cute sitting area in the front and a very helpful front desk! Very convenient to walk anywhere in the city, including the central train station

Somewhat difficult to find but that is probably on me. Very good location...walkable to all churches museums etc. Excellent restaurants nearby...safe ....instructions regarding parking are easy and supplied by the hotel prior to arrivL
