Warm welcome when I arrived late at night.
Room was perfect, comfortable, quiet area
ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast could not have better, cooked to perfection.
I would highly recommend this accommodation.

First night in Ireland

Room was spacious and comfortable.
Staffing excellent.
Breakfast excellent.
Parking excellent.
Long walk to town to find somewhere for dinner but after the long drive it was welcome. After the big meal it was equally welcome. At the time we stayed there were considerable traffic disruptions in the town so driving was not an option but normally would be.

Great location and very welcoming environment. The hosts were very kind and had many suggestions of places to see and eat in the area. The breakfast was amazing as well.

Plats: nice location on outskirts of town, close to motorways and local amenities
Good choices at breakfast, i had full Irish every day with 2 eggs! Home made breads and drop scones daily and home made marmalade and jam.
Friendly and knowledgeable hosts who would do anything for you. Would certainly recommend to other travellers.

A perfect stay in Athlone

They were very welcoming and helped out with great directions to my other business destination . Everything was excellent, food, room ,etc and breakfast delightful .Aattention to detail ,comfort and general friendliness was excellent .i would heartily recommend the Shelmalier to stay for several nights .
