5 Star, I don't think so
Well I am pleased I only paid $90.00 (half price) or I would be even more dissapointed. At 8am The staff started using a drill and rotor hammer outside my room, asked them to stop and 2 hours later still working out in the hall. Offered me 30,000d ($1.50us) voucher for cab ride. Gave us wrong room to start (smoking 2 twin beds ) Mold in bathtub shower. Like I said not 5 star hotel

Wifi is not free,must pay 16USD
Wifi is not free,must pay 16USD per day. Breakfast is not include, 17USD++. Bed sheet was so dirty,Many ticks chewed my skin.I was so itchy.I went to hospital. Bed sheet and pillow smells mold. Bed spring was jars. Comprimentaly water was so bad flavor. No rasor,cotton pad.slippers,bathrobe,showercap. Staff come into my room not my permission.

A piece of America in Vietnam
This hotel is actually quite far from the city center, which can be a good thing because you are surrounded by the 'real' city, not the tourist-centric area. However, this also makes for quite a journey if you want to go to tourist attractions (the hotel will get a taxi for you). This hotel goes far out of its way to make you feel like you are not in Vietnam at all. Everything is in English (with huge markups on food and drinks, priced in USD only). The best thing to do is to leave the hotel and look for the numerous local businesses nearby. I found it disappointing that the hotel tries to make you forget you are in Vietnam altogether.

The food is very good, however the maids did not change the sheets. I was grossed out to discover this. Perhaps and isolated circumstance.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh. The room was cozy and comfortable. Amenities were complete. Though the hotel was relatively far from District 1, the free shuttle service was a big help to us. Loved the food and service at their seafood restaurant, Orientica though it was quite expensive.

Tres bien mais équipements un
Tres bien mais équipements un peu cheap, l'internet à 16$ par jour, je trouve cela exagéré. Beaucoup de travaux aux alentours, nous n'avons pas eu le chance d'avoir un chambre sur la piscine donc sejour tres bruyant !
