art'otel budapest, by park plaza

Durant notre voyage de noce notre chambre a été dévalisée on nous a volé tous nos affaires: ordi, téléphone bijoux etc ... nous attendons toujours les dédommagements, c'est un endroit vraiment à éviter..... august 2011 while we stayed in the art'otel in Budapest, for our honey moon ,several objects belonging to us were stolen in our room

The hotel is convienient to local transportation, and within walking distance of popular sights. Views across the Danube to Pest are lovely.

First of all the hotel's location was fantastic, looking out onto the river and very close to the travel network. It is on the quieter Buda side of the city but within easy walking distance of the more lively Pest side. The room we stayed in was a Danube view premium room, fairly basic as far as hotel rooms go but clean and tidy, the only disappointment was the number of English T.V channels, there were only two, Bloomberg and BBC World. (I didn't go to watch T.V but when you're relaxing before bed or getting changed it's nice to have the option.) The hotel clientele was of a good standard as most were business parties and conference members. The staff were polite and helpful during the few interactions we had and their English was considerably better than my Hungarian, thank god! As for Budapest in general, it was far more expensive than I expected. I would say easily on par with London and Paris, not a major issue but don't believe all the hype about low cost living as it is very out dated.

Perfect location for those who like short walk to subway or other major attractions. Views are best from 4th floor and up.

Dommage qu'il n'y est qu'une seule chaine de TV Française 2 couettes 1 personne sur un Queen size ce n'est pas pratique du tout

Perfect location with a view of the city and Danube. Staff and accommodations above 4 star - the AC needs a little work as this spring was a above average in temp. Near all public transportation and several good restaurants. Would stay there again in a heartbeat as excellent value.

ottima posizione per ragiungere tutti i siti di interesse. l'hotel ha camere molto spaziose e pulite, il personale è gentile e diponibile.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, super freundliches Personal. Schwierigkeiten mit dem Zimmersafe wurden sogar spätabends um 22:30 Uhr behoben! Wir hatten Zimmer auf der Donauseite gebucht und genossen den Blick auf das Parlamentgebäude. Strabe-Haltestellte vor der Tür, Metro gerade 200m entfernt. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!

Definitely worth considering if travelling to Budapest.Great views.High end rooms are very good.
