Shared bathroom is a dificult choice.......not because of bathroom, but people who uses before you (unfotunatelly many cultures have bad habits)

This hotel is literally just the basics, but if you're here for New York, it shouldn't really matter. The hotel served it's purpose - a bed to sleep on after a full day and night of out and about. When I first arrived, the first thing I noticed in my room was this long hair on my desk, I just ended up throwing it away. It's not the cleanest of places, but with the location that I was getting, I wasn't mad. Showers were a bit of a frustration in the mornings. The wait was something, but it never really took that long to get a shower open. The front desk seemed to have a little bit of an attitude, maybe just a tired staff, a little snippy. My only dealings with them were at check-in and check-out though, so luckily I didn't get their attitude all the time. Overall for the price and the location, I will be back and I am already planning my next trip.

For the budget concern, you will not find better deal than this place, the gym at ground floor is superb. The room is small but enough for sleeping if you are not picky. The bathroom is conveniently quiet and clean enough for sharing. The best for the value in NYC short trip. Warning- No Luxury here, you get what you pay for, but great location .

This is bare bones. It was however, clean. The room is a mere 7 feet by 10 with a bed, a dresser, tv and refrigerator. The baths were clean and the front desk staff friendly.

If you're looking to stay in nyc cheaply, this is the place.

All I needed the room for was to sleep. That is what I got. As a bonus the gym amenities were available for me. Clean rooms with the bare essentials.

Unlike many shady hotels, YMCA is an acceptable choice for those who do not need more than the bare bottom basic accommodation and who do not want to spend unnecessary amount of money. It is nice for those who appreciate Y's gym, steam room, sauna, etc.

Un couple de jeune en vacances pour une semaine à New-York donc pas dans le but de rester à l'hôtel. Hôtel bien situé dans Manhattan, agréable, proche de la gare centrale mais aussi de Times square (se fait à pied), dans une rue sécurisée. Aucun sentiment d'insécurité quand nous rentrions tard le soir. Proche bouche métro et commerces et restaurants. Nous n'étions à l'hôtel généralement que pour dormir et cela suffit très bien comme confort. Douches non mixtes et chambres propres. Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour les personnes qui comptent découvrir NY la journée et sortir le soir tout en étant à pied et en sécurité. Nous le recommandons moins à ceux qui veulent passer leur journée à l'hôtel! Le personnel était très agréable et serviable et a répondu à nos questions convenablement. Même l'hôtel est sécurisé, nous ne pouvions pas rentrer le soir et monter dans la chambre sans montrer notre pass au gardien. Très bonnes vacances!

If you hav not inaf money and ambitiants this hotel is very cool for you.
