Just what I needed
I loved everything about the hotel it was very modern and comfortable, it was the perfect getaway. The service was asbsolubtly exquisite.

Times Square Gem
Overall, the Muse was a great experience. The location in the heart of Times Square was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downsides (and they were minor) were the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom and the fact that traffic on that part of 46th St is limited, so it sometimes took several minutes to flag down an available cab-this was easily overcome by walking up to either busy corner. I would absolutely recommend the Muse for anyone staying in the NY Times Square vicinity.

The Friday's restaurant at the corner is really overpriced (insult prices) for very average food. Avoid it; those who get sucked in a first time would likely not return.

fantastic weekend vacation
Staff was cordial and welcoming. The wine hour wasn't as social as I thought, and the wine selection wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The room and location were both fantastic. For the price I paid for the 2 nights, I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Perfect location in Time Square
THIS WAS MY 1ST TIME IN NEW YORK. I COULDNT HAVE STAYED IN A BETTER LOCATION!! EVERYTHING WAS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO ROCKAFELLER, BRODWAY THEATERS, SHOPPING (5TH AVE), A LOT OF RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM, & SAFE LOCATION. HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL IN RECOMMENDING PLACES TO SHOP, EAT, ETC.

Good location but expensive
Location was great! But for what they charge for rooms I expected better views... First thing I did when I walked in was shut the blinds! Service was reasonable and very clean rooms. Oh and if you are willing to pay their high prices for minibar check their expiry date.. I found two things that expired in 2009. Bottom line- if you want a stylish hotel with great location The Muse is it, but for everything else I feel The Muse is very much overpriced.

Night in NYC
We enjoyed the hotel. We were in the city to see a show on Saturday night. We had a nice meal in the restaurant in the hotel and enjoyed the beautiful night in the city after the show. The hotel was a great location and worked out well for us.

Expensive, small and noisy getaway
We didn't do much because we didn't know what to do or how to do it. We were staying on the 2nd floor and it was very noisy outside. The hotel room was very tiny. We were expecting the rooms to be more like the pictures on the internet. We are VIP members with Wyndham Resorts so we are use to being in a large area with kitchen and laundry facilities in our room. We did not care for any of the food nor service that we rec'd in New York.

GREAT LOCATION AND SUPER AFFORDABLE
The Muse has a lot of character and is conveniently located half a block from the heart of time square. The hotel's Aveda amenities were really nice, beds were soft, and when i couldn't figure out how to work the a/c the staff was quick to respond. Be sure to look them up on facebook and twitter beforehand to find out what their secret word of the month is. We looked up the secret word and got two comp drinks at the bar. DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE BATHROOMS IN THE LOBBY.

Nice, in the heart of Theatre district
