The Empire Hotel

Can't do better than this...my room had a perfect view of Lincoln Center...the rooftop pool (just a lap pool but nice) and outdoor and indoor lounge has great views of the neighborhood. Everyone was nice and the room was comfortable. Easy choice if you want to check out the shows and arts and music at Lincoln Center and/or enjoy Central Park.

It was our 1st time in NYC and this hotel was wonderful. It was very clean, beautiful and very friendly staff esp the congierge Chris. He helped us out get around town and was very sincere. The hotel offered to store our luggages too for early check in. They use L'occitane toiletries. The hotel is very close to 59th & columbus subway station, Lincoln Ctr and Central Park.

Hotel is located near by the main attraction areas in NYC such as the Central Park, Time Square and 5th Avenue. It's a good option if you are seeking for a weekend break as everything is near you & you have many places to dine from. Although rooms were too small & didn't have outdoor view but it was ok as it's normal in NYC hotels.

Great place to stay if you're attending events at Lincoln Center or the MET. Room was clean and comfy. Great view from our window. Take your own snacks, however, you don't want to pay $6.50 for a Kit Kat bar in the room. Room was overpriced, but that's typical for New York. At least it was clean, comfy, and a great location.

The Empire has been renovated, but the room was small and the bathroom tiny, but adequate. Comfortable bed and blackout drapery helped to ensure a good night's sleep. The location is perfect if you're attending a Lincoln Center event, as it's just across the way on 63rd and Broadway.

The Empire Hotel was great. Bars and restaurants in the hotel were outstanding. The only thing is that the shower would drain and it was a walk out shower so it flooded my bathroom and part of my room.

Stayed here for the night for my wife was running the NY half marathon. Absolute perfect location. We woke up and literally walked a block to the starting point in central park. Close to alot of shops and great restaurants. Stayed in the standard queen room which was very small and overall did not seem like the room itself was contructed with care. Paint splotches on the walls, crooked fixtures and just seemed like it was put together quickly. For the cost of the room, I would expect alot better quality.

Empire Hotel was fairly decent, and in a great location across the street from Lincoln Center, but it wasn't a 4-star hotel. Though the room was small, the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom, however, was ridiculously cramped and poorly designed. There was only a partial glass shower door, so water sprayed out of the shower stall from the other half all over the floor.. The shower knob didn't turn and work well, so we either got scalding hot water, or freezing cold water. The sink was designed poorly, so when you turned onn the water, it automatically ricocheted off the sink onto the person using it.. The bathroom was so small that you had to close the door to get access to the toilet paper behind the bathroom door. All in all, it was a very poorly designed bathroom. Staff was courteous, but we checked in at 3:30 and had to wait until 4:00 to get access to our room, even though check-in time is 3:00 p,m. Stay away from the noisy 2nd floor rooms, the 4th floor which is a smoking floor, and the 11th floor, which is right under the Empire's rooftop bar, where everyone parties noisily until 4:00 a,m.

Location couldn't be better, with helpful staff and comfortable room. Though the added touch of wine and bottled water stocked in the room for sale was a nice touch, the price was stunning ( figi water, small, $7). But because of the location, anything desired was around a corner. Good memories from this stay.

We had a great stay at The Empire Hotel. The staff was wonderful. The room was nice and very clean. We will be staying there again. Its location is great too. It is located in a wonderful part of NYC. Can't say enough nice things about the hotel and the staff was excellent.
