Soho Grand Hotel

Was a beautiful escape for a birthday surprise for my wife. Suited us perfectly for our location in the city, and the best part of all was, the hotel is dog friendly! We have a 100lb Ridgeback and he was as welcome as we were. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. We would recommend this hotel to friends with, and without a dog.

This was our second stay at the SoHo Grand. We were in NYC to get married. They upgraded out room and gave us complimentary drinks when the found out!!!! Great location, nice accomodations, nice staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Just got back and enjoyed our stay. Decent location, friendly staff, good food in the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.

A perfect downtown location at Grand and West Broadway, this hotspot attracts the young and very cool. Decor is modern and very well-done throughout. Rooms are New York sized - on the small side, but offers evrything one needs for a short stay. Beds are comfortable with lovely linens, and bathroom towels are thick, soft, and plentiful. The only downside was that it was a little dark. Hotel lobby has an inviting bar area, well designed with very comfortable seating, offering good drinks and small bites. A little on the expensive side, but there is no rush to leave, and one can linger over a drink with no pressure to order additionally. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel was very well located and the staff "clinically" polite the hotel failed to deliver when it came to the size of the rooms and their interior space division. When you look at the price you would expect a lot more. I was just happy that my dissapointment was essentially centered around the room size considering I took a chance on this place despite the "bed bug" warnings I received from friends and listed on various web site reviews. I may consider it again just to re-confirm or hopefully change my first impression

alas, being convenient to transport and lively Soho makes for a very noisy room. staff were friendly but I was overcharged including for two meals I had not had in hotel. their security can't be very good if people can give a room number in the restaurant without it being checked.

first time at this hotel, and will be last. Checkin unwelcoming. Decor on stuffy and gloomy side. Room small for price. Paper thin walls. Could hear children next door as if they were in same room. Blinds broke. Hot water took too long to come on in bath. No TV checkout, and live checkout slow. Room service took long time to get through to. Much better hotels in this price range in New York.

We have been staying here for years and are never disappointed. Not a cookie-cutter hotel but stylish and comfortable with great service. We always have a cocktails in the lounge and have a meal or two in the hotel because the food is so tasty, though not inexpensive. Some of our favorite NYC restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel in SOHO and Tribeca. Great doormen can always get you a taxi if you don't want to take the nearby subway to other areas and they remember you and chat you up....not like the big hotels. We love the SHOPPING in this area......great selections or just lots to look at. Hotel AMENITIES are sufficient but not overdone. VALUE......we do not mind paying extra for this hotel as we are always happy with our stay. This hotel will make your stay a Grand Memory of New York!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed just one night. The hotel was lovely, clean, and the staff incredibly hospitable. Champagne at check-in certainly helped, and our room was ready when they said it would be. I'd love to go back and take my dogs; it was delightful to stay in a place so welcoming of dogs and kids, yet be so elegant and peaceful. We'll certainly book here for a future trip to NYC.

Hotel was nice, clean and trendy. It was centrally located to a number of subways and restaurants. Like most NYC hotels the rooms are on the small side some please adjust your expectations.
