Ramada Eastside

I have to say what good value and location this hotel was for my visit. Near the subway and plenty of diversity in the restaurant department. My only quibble was the front desk would not give me a discount on my AAA card after I checked in. Too much trouble was it? They also have a good deal on parking ($20 a day)

This was a great price for a hotel in New York City. The staff was very helpful and let us check out an hour later than the stated time. Parking was close by at a fantastic price. I would stay here again!

my wife and i went to new york for are anniversary on a Thurs, Friday and sat. night the whole time there every one was always nice even at 3: am. room 503 was at end of the hall it was nice and quite, clean and new the ice machine was on the 9th floor those rooms see a lot of traffic witch is kind of noisy. value for what you get its a 5 STAR to me.

Good location with variety ethnic restuarants nearby

We've been across US from CA to Vegas, AZ, UT, then NYC, Niagara till MN. This is the only one happening following, 1.Room very small that 2 big suitcases made it full, 2.People in the same floor are smoking a lot incl. Cigar even likely M, therefore the corridor is suffocating, 3.The thin&simple rolling certain is falling down, and the lifting window also off the track hitting my head when used,(and it's really painful), 4.my room is located in the corner of Lexington & 32th st., very noisy due to the thin windows and busy streets, 5.I can easily hear the tv of my neighbor. The continental bfs is good. Hotel staff are friendly (but couldn't solve the problem). the room cost me more than 200$/night, but in the end it's suffering. The surrounding is no good compared to other Manhattan areas.

But my experience was actually quite exceptional at this price point. Checked in early, clean and well maintained room, great location to the 4,5,6 trains, nice staff, decent fitness center.

Overall I was pleased! The location is quite central to many recreational and site seeing spots, as well as subway entrances. The breakfast and room were average. However, you really can't beat the price for that location!

I planned a very last minute New York getaway, and this hotel seemed the most reasonable. The price was right, the location - so-so, and the continental breakfast was a definite plus. The room was clean, and fairly well-sized (I don't expect much space in NYC). I by no means regret staying here, and I'm sure you won't either if you aren't too picky. Just an OK place...and really, we are only really sleeping for a few hours when in NYC, aren't we?!

Stayed 1 night (1/21/12) and had a nice time. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front staff were helpful and the price for a Friday night in NYC was great ($123 after tax). It was not fancy, but it was modern and clean. I would definitely stay there again. PLENTY of good restaurants nearby!
