Adresse excellente. Super déco, super confort, un lit terriblement confortable une baignoire gigantesque. Bref au TOP !

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at The Gansevoort! We affectionately call it our hotel - "The Gans" now. The staff was so friendly, made us feel like we were part of the city, and they were so helpful and gracious. Truly warm. The room was spotless everyday, and beautifully appointed. I want to buy THAT bed. Unbelievable! Great bathroom with fantastic products, should you forget yours. The location is fantastic. Everything right out your door. When you check in - go have a cocktail and sit by the pool. This is the hotel I will be staying at when I come to New York.

Room was very comfortable... excellent value to the business traveller. Check out Bread and Butter on East side of Park! WOW!

Gansevoort Park is een redelijk prijzig hotel maar je krijgt er wel waar voor je geld. Nergens anders in New York vind je een hotel waar je boven op het dak kan zwemmen in de schaduw van de Empire State building. 'S avonds kan je er rooftop clubben tussen het trendy New Yorks volkje en op de gelijkvloers bevindt zich één van de betere italiaanse restaurants. Voor een citytrip is de ligging ook heel geschikt als uitvalsbasis naar alle bekende toeristische locaties. Een aanrader! Zeker voor een huwelijksreis

My husband and I went with the hopes of a romantic night on the town. We were not dissapointed. The room was very large and there was a nice seating area for us to eat at. The room came with all the perks- fancy soaps, free slippers, a nice stocked mini bar and what a bed! One complaint is that they couldn't guarentee me a king size bed at booking time, and had to wait till the day of and they didn't have any mini fridges avialable. I know others have complained about noise, and while the sound is apparent in the hallways, our room on the 18th floor was perfectly quiet. Would certainly go again!

Nice hotel. Bar on the rooftop is trendy, yet comfortable. Late night room service was good without having to wait hours for your food. Used the roomkey to get access (without waiting on long line) to the downtown sister hotel in the meatpacking district.

This is a small hotel compared to other "5 star " hotels and it does not even come close to a " 5 star" . you should not have advertised this hotel as a 5 star. it was such a bad experience not only as far as the hotel and the amenities , we could not go to sleep at all. there was lots of noise from the next door and hall ways. thin walls or no sound proofing made this a terrible experience and the room was not maintained properly, shower was not working properly, no air circulation and water was staying above your knees. Bathroom water tank leaked constantly. request for room change was ignored by the staff.

Getting to the 29th St. and Park location wasn't easy...can't make left turns off Park Ave. in the middle of the day... and I had to quickly drop my kid off and get to a meeting, but must say the place was pretty cool. The pool was great (although I seemed to be the only one using it). The room was comfy, although the pics of women in lingerie were weird...really weird. There is a bit of haughtiness on the part of some of the folks staying there (I wish people would stop thinking they are sooo cool cuz their staying in an expensive hotel with pics of women in lingerie on the walls). But all in all, if you're looking for comfort and a good location in NYC, this is is a good place...and you're teenage daughter will think its very cool (even if you don't)

I loved this hotel, very central, very quiet rooms and great space. Pool bar not for me but looks great fun if it's your thing. Very clean.
