Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Upper East Side

This hotel is right in a manhattan neighbourhood. There is an amazing local market just steps away that has the most amazing produce for great prices. There are also tons of small fantastic restaurants within a 5 minute walk, which also have great food at even better prices. The hotel gym was fantastic and had great cardio equipment. The only negative was the fact that you can hear water running and toilets flushing in neighbouring rooms and that the hotel restaurant was way over priced for what you got (but since there are so many amazing restaurants and open markets within blocks this isn't a big problem).

Thank goodness that there were no bed bugs. That is my prayer when I check in at any hotel. Uber-clean property. A full service hotel with a restaurant and organic grocery store on site. Taxis are accessible at any time.

I spent the weekend at this hotel. It was convenient to my daughter's apartment on the upper east side. Based on other hotels I've stayed at in the NYC area, it was a nice hotel for the price. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the rug in the room was damp, and there was no hair dryer. You get what you pay for!

This hotel worked out very well for us. It was located right next to FDR drive and has a parking garage across the street, which offered a discounted daily rate including one in/out privilege for guests of the hotel. We thought this was quite reasonable and it made moving around convenient. The pool is small and is only open 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening each weekday - something to consider if you are traveling with kids who want to spend more time there. The room was small which was fine with us, but a family of 4 might have needed a little more space. There were lots of shops and places to eat nearby, so we had plenty of choices for meals and errands in the neighborhood.

Adequate hotel. Rooms are not large and beds were not comftorable but hotel was convenient and pretty clean.

We were looking for a place close to where our daughter lives and didn't want to spend a fortune. Not a lot of options on the Upper East side. The staff was friendly, the room was on the small side but beautifully appointed. Would stay there again.

Courtyard by Marriott, Upper East Side, was superb! I selected this particular hotel because of the location and found it to be superior in many ways. The staff the the desk were amazingly supportive and helpful. I would stay there again!

I traveled from Houston to NY for an interview and had a great stay at this Courtyard by Marriott! For the price, I was a little hesitant but I've stayed at other Courtyards and always had a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised. Front desk staff was very helpful with room information, taxi/transportation information, and all my other needs. I also had a quick bite to eat at the cafe in the hotel, which was pretty good and made-to-order. The room itself was very clean with FREE in-room wired internet. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was nice and quiet, so I had a good night's rest before my interview. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
