Great location at a great price

Was very happy with all aspects of our stay here. Room was small, but we didn't come there to spend time in our room. Breakfast was good, cleanliness was better than average, staff was considerate and helpful, location - only 1 blk from subway - was ideal, no noise to speak of, and the price was so much less than anywhere in Manhattan. Would definitely return!

The hotel is relatively new and well placed. We have been to New York many times and were very pleased with our experience here. The hotel is located near multiple subway lines. The neighborhood is very nice and close to Prospect park and its attractions. Great food and shops as one expects in Brooklyn. The rooms were a bit small, and the hotel has no formal public space, but we weren't there to hang at the hotel. The staff was always helpful. It may not be 4 star amenities but we left early and returned late, so it met our needs perfectly. The parking costs $20 a night, which is reasonable compared to what we have paid for metro parking. Overall a great stay, and we'll certainly be back!

The Best Western Gregory was a convenient location for us because of the proximity to our daughter's home. Actually we were at the motel for short periods of time. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was clean and roomy. We simply did not utilize all the amenities because we spent most of our time with our daughter.

Was visiting NYC from Canada. Hotel was kind of small, and the location was right next to the highway. So a lot of noise and there is nothing to do once you walk out of the hotel. The room decor was okay, kind of small if you have 4 people in a room. I expected a sleep in to be a lot cheaper than what we paid.
overall, it's cheaper than staying in manhattan.

It's a great place to stay while visiting family. We can walk to some great restaurants and small cafes in the area. Everyone is very nice even at the restaurants and asking where we are from and which hotel we are staying in. The restaurant food prices go from medium to upscale and we had no problems with any of them even with our 2 year old grandson in tow. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. There's also a small grocery close by for snacks or drinks. We will definitely stay there again.

I arrived late at night, maybe 11pm, having flown in from San Francisco. It was raining when I got to the hotel. I was informed that the hotel had overbooked and I would have to stay in the sister hotel, Holiday Inn Brooklyn on Butler. My room there was barely acceptable. The tv was missing the remote. I called and a technician came holding another one. Told me there were six missing at the hotel and his was the last one. He finally consented to loaning it to me. Presumably the people after me were fat out of luck. The next day I had to check out and trot back to the the Hotel for which I reserved and paid for the room months ago.

Hotel Le Bleu was fine for what we were looking for, which was a hotel close to Brooklyn Pier 12 on the night before our cruise departure. Service was excellent. Food at the restaurant was very impressive, however the price of drinks was extraordinarily high - two glasses of wine and one beer cost more than the two main meals.
If my next cruise is also out of New York, I would go back to Le Bleu

It was a great hotel with very nice amenities that we enjoyed very much. The only downside was that the lighting was a bit dark at night. Other than that, I liked the glass shower area and the mood lighting in the room. The nice big plasma screen TV was a nice touch. Also the complimentary breakfast delivered to your room is very very nice. We liked that very very much. Just wished there were more items with that complimentary breakfast. Another downside was the lack of ice machines in the hotel or at least on the floor I was in.

Cet hôtel se trouve à 30 minutes du centre de Manhattan en métro (trajet sans aucun sentiment d'insécurité). Notre chambre était tel que nous pouvions la voir sur le site, le petit déjeuner était succinct mais gratuit, le personnel sympathique.

This La Quinta is located at the crossroads of Park Slope and Gowanus. Just two blocks off the F train 4th Ave stop, it is easy and convenient to get to. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was great. The bed was nice and firm, the tv a big flat-screen, and the bathroom was modern and sparkling clean.
I can highly recommend this hotel and it will be my hub on future visits back to Brooklyn. Be sure to check out Bar Tano, just 4 blocks up 3rd Ave - great food and awesome staff.

Location and value are the selling points for this place. My rate was very reasonable considering the access to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn via subway. JFK was slightly longer to reach via car but not by much. The hotel isn't fancy but is not unkempt or unsightly. A member of my group said the first floor restrooms were spotless. The rooms are smaller than an average room in any American mid-level hotel chain, so a room with more than two may get stressful after a couple of days.

new hotel with friendly staff. Location is great and within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Room were clean and comfortable. Will stay here again when we return to Brooklyn! Hotel has a nice rooftop for smokers with seating, music, bathrooms, and a skyline view of Brooklyn.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Aside from the rooms being very small, our family finds it to be a very safe, clean, modern, and comfortable place to stay. We have found the staff to be very friendly and eager to answer questions or assist guests. The complimentary breakfast offers several choices - both hot and cold. The hotel is far from Manhattan, where we have spent most of our time during our visits, but a subway train makes travel there easy. One of the best perks of the hotel is the 25th Street subway station entrance and exit within a few steps of the front door. We like the corner grocery next door to the hotel; a great place to get 2 liter drinks and snacks!

We have stayed at the Union Hotel twice. It is a good value for NYC, but the trade-off is very small rooms. While the website says that they offer king and queen sized beds, ours was a 3/4 size bed for two. One end was up against the wall so that my wife had to climb over me to get out of bed in the middle of the night. The open floor space was about 5 feet by 5 feet. Very cozy space! No off street parking is available. Breakfast included at a local diner is a plus.

Great Location for Cruise Ship Travelers

The hotel is in the industrial area of Red Hook, but only 2 blocks away you have the area that is being redeveloped - a nice, quaint area with coffee houses, restaurants and shops. We were taking a cruise out of Brooklyn and found mostly cruisers in the hotel. The staff was excellent and very accommodating to our needs - calling taxis, holding our luggage, helping us with calling for take-out food. If you are taking a cruise out of Brooklyn and need a place for a night or two I would suggest this hotel. Not high end by any means, but clean, convenient and a good price.

The hotel is brand new so physical facility was in excellent condition. The neighborhood isn't great but it's the closest hotel to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal - a several block walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff member in the breakfast area was extremely helpful. Parking is limited but it appears that most guests will likely be staying prior to a cruise and probably won't be driving to the hotel.

Wir buchten eine double bed suite mit Kochgelegenheit. Reichlich Platz,Zimmerservice gut. Auch Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Frühstücksraum klein, doch konnte man sein Frühstück per Tablett aufs Zimmer nehmen, eine gute Variante. Gewöhnungsbedürftig : Geschirr/Besteck alles Plastik. Küche mit Wasserkocher und grossem Kühlschrank, doch leider kein Geschirr und sonstige Küchenwerkzeuge in dem gut ausgestattetem Mobiliar. Da wir nicht unbedingt kochen wollten, konnten wir uns mit dem Frühstücks-Utensilien gut behelfen. Anreise zum Timesquare per ÖPNV: 45', eingeschlossen 12 ' Fussweg zur Subway-Station . Für NYC-Verhältnisse angesichts des Hotelpreises akzeptabel.

Das Hotel liegt im Judenviertel von Brooklyn und mit der U-Bahn braucht man ca 25 Min nach Manhattan. Die nächtste Station ist ca 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Die Gegend in welcher das Hotel liegt ist zwar nicht die sauberste jedoch ist sie sehr sicher.
Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und hat unbeschreiblich bequeme Betten, in denen man sich von einem anstrengenden Tag unglaublich gut erholen kann. Die Zimmer sind für New Yorker Verhältinisse sehr groß.
Das Frühstück ist vollkommen in Ordnung nur muss man sich um die begrenzten Sitzplätze streiten und evtl auf ein Frühstück am Zimmer ausweichen.
Das Personal am Empfang ist stets ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht sich um bestes Wohlbefinden der Gäste.
Alles in allem empfehle ich das Hotel sehr!

This was my second time, the view of my first stay was better than this time, but it is a beautiful hotel, the beds this time were a little soft but I was so tiered from driving 4 hours that I didn't care, the pool area was great for me and my kids and the shower room so clean I just love it and I can't wait to go back to Brooklyn and stay with you guys again.

really there are only two hotel choices in this area and the other one is close BUTTTTT there is a very loud club downstairs from this comfort inn- hotel is fine- boom boom boom until 4 AM not good- you choose for me i would go back to the other hotel which is closer and no club- either place is on the street so each have much noise- ps i grew up in NYC

The staff was very nice and the room was clean and very comfortable. Had parking, albeit a bit cramped, but in NY that's what you'd expect. No complaints here. Would stay again when in the area.

To start Mohammad was a lot of help, he went out of his way to help me; from storing my bags before check-into helping find a place to eat and another place to eat when I wanted a snack later. He was very friendly which is a lot considering he was there all day. He also gave me direction to the New York Aquarium so that I could walk there from the hotel. The hotel is located in what I would call a safe area. There are a lot of resturaunts right near the hotel. I would definately go back to this hotel. It would be the first place I would look.

We just needed a place to sleep for the night, and if that's all you're looking for, then this place would be ok. Staff were not particularly friendly and honestly the location is not great - we were on the 6th floor and heard the subway running all night. Really limited parking too. Although the room (and hotel) had probably seen better days, the room was comfortable and clean.

The hotel is a little off the beaten path if your not taking a taxi or going by public trans. We decided to drive in. Mind you that there is construction going on and the GPSs don't have the temporary and permanent street changes locked down yet. It'll take a few trips around the block to figure where you are going. Parking is another thing. The street signs are a mess and no one(not even the Valets) are sure when times take effect. Some meters seem to service three parking spots. So I got a ticket and no one can explain which meter was mine. Parking in an outside lot two blocks away is $50 a day. Beats the ticket cost but not by much. Too far to walk with baggage by train. Take a cab and be prepared to walk..

very very very bad area!! I heard nothing but ambulance and police cars all night, plus I was afraid to walk down the street by myself even in day light. I will never stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone I don't want to die. I tried to cancel the day before and they would not give me a refund and were going to charge me more than the room was worth in as a cancellation fee that's the only reason I actually stayed there and didn't get to switch my hotel. Very disappointed.
