Tired in Los Gatos!
the worst hotel stay ever!
It was truly the night from hell. I will never go back to that hotel. I had to call the front desk three times before they would send security to the room next door. The couple was fighting and screaming at 1:30 in the morning. It took three calls before they did anything. I reserved a non-smoking room. They had none and put me in a smoking room. It was a business trip. I got about two hours of sleep and smelled like an ashtray when I left. I have never taken the time to complain about a hotel EVER...but this was so bad I had to take the time to do so.

Harrah's Laughlin 5/21 and 5/28/09
Excellent stay for overnight. Checkin on 5/28 was slow until more staff was added. First Class breakfast in the Cafe.

Bad experience overall. Scammers!
Hotel checkin guy was a jerk. Tricked you into registering all guests claiming "safety reasons", then charged for extra persons!! Hires old men who couldn't lift a handbag for baggage handling. Valet that parked the car in front for you but isn't around and I had to find them for my keys. Only person I found friendly was lady waitress in buffet restaurant. Hotel is cramped and old. Rooms are musty smoky smell. AC don't really work. Promised queen beds but they were twins. Room had only one bath towel. Advertized free internet, but charges $11 per day. Overall, go here and you will regret it.

Weekend away at Harrah's Laughlin.
We came down to Laughlin from Las Vegas, and wanted to get "away" for a weekend. At check in I was told they did not have anymore nonsmoking rooms (which I had requested)with a king bed. The best he could do was a smoking room with 2 doubles. I was told that I had booked through a third party and there was nothing they could do. I WAS NOT HAPPY! Our room was small, but clean but reeked of smoke. We were in Tower one that is supposed to be adult only. I noticed the bottom floor below had a child out on the balcany. Nice! We overlooked the river and the family pool, so the view wasn't bad. They have a non-smoking casino which we did spend some time in. They had McDonalds (that had broken fryers) and Cinnabon. We ate at the Cafe twice(food was good) and the buffet for brunch on Sunday. The adult pool was nice, and we enjoyed that. Over all I think if they had given me the room I had requested I would have been much happier. I will go to Laughlin again, but I won't stay at Harrah's again. I think next time we will stay at Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino. More bang for your buck!

Made for a unmemorable 45th Anniversary
Food was bad, limited selection. Steak night- No steak. Free upgrade - Didn't Happen. Two beds instead of 1 King. Happy 45th Wedding Anniversary- Not. Room was not very clean. We were Expecting The same great room & food as Lake Tahoe Harrahs. Not even close. PS we are a Harrah's Rewards member.

Wonderful experience for the price
WE stayed 3 nights at the hotel and found it to be very clean, spacious and convenient. Our room was lovely. Hotel staff was very helpful. Ate at 2 of the restaurants in the hotel and enjoyed the meals. Will definitely stay at Harrah's again.

Not impressed
Was not pleased. I went to bed early, and my friend's key did not work, they said there was nothing they could do. He ended up sleeping on a chair in the lobby. When I got up in the morning and went to the bathroom, it was flooded, from the toilet leaking. When I checked out, I told the lady about these things and she just shrugged it off and said " You booked the room through Orbits so you don't owe anything else " Gee thanks. I don't think it is Orbits fault, but I would never book a room at Harrah's again!
