Great trip with friends
Visited with a group of friends. The casino, rooms, clubs, and restraunts were great. The pool was nowhere near as good as it gets made out to be. The music at the pool was very low. Would be great if you just wanted to relax, but it's Vegas.

Hervorragendes Hotel
Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig; ebenso das Bad. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung ist ohne Beanstandung. Sehr schnelle Abwicklung beim Check-In und Check-Out. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommenden und bemühtes Personal. Dies gilt auch für alle im Haus befindlichen Restaurants. Dort weder Warteschlangen noch schlechtes Essen. Verglichen mit Deutschland sind die Preise niedrig. Wenn man z.B. aber bei den Getränken sparen möchte (600ml Cola für 2,10 €), kann man ohne Probleme ja einen der örtlichen, an den Ausfallstraßen liegenden Supermärkte ansteuern und dort einen 12er-Pack Cola für knapp 3 € kaufen. Super Pool-Anlage! Badetücher und Liegen sind gratis.

Shopping tips:
Short drive from hotel
Getränke, Snacks, Andenken usw. in den örtlichen Wal-Mart-Supermärkten kaufen. Seeeehr preiswert!! Der nächst gelegene befindet sich in der E. Tropicana Ave. (Richtung Flughafen, auf der rechten Seite), ca. 6 Meilen vom Hotel entfernt. Am besten eine kleine Kühlbox mit kaufen (das Eis gibt's im Hotel kostenlos), so hat man immer und überall gekühlte Getränke mit dabei.

Mirage
We had a very nice time and the amenities were great. Drinks and meals at the pool were too pricy but the pool is one of the best in Vegas which is the reason we chost The Mirage

With The Mirage you have a short walk to most of the best restaurants in town. You can certainly choose from all different values in the restaurant selection.

Weekend Away
Very smooth, friendly check in. The room was spacious and the beds were heavenly. We spent an afternoon at the pool but had to wait an hour for a pool server to come by and take our order. I went to find the bar myself and get our beverages. A server eventually appeared but her attitude was crisp and unfriendly. Others around us were grumbling about the lack of pool service. The pool area is very nice the hotel just needs to keep it better staffed. Overall the hotel experience was good.

Beautiful tropical entrance
Mattress was old &lumpy and needed to be replaced. Bolster pillow was raged and I asked it to be replaced and it was. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room. The main carpet in the hotel looked worn and needed to be replaced. Not enough pool chairs for everyone.

Service shortage
Not enough staff. Particularly wait staff in the casino. The inability to stop chair-hoarding at the pool was pretty bad. Cadres of old ladies waiting in line for the pool to open at 7 am who then threw shirts and towels over whole rows of chaise lounges and then leave for four hours should not be tolerated!
