Still a great deal
The price was almost impossible to beat, but the rooms are sparse- not even a coffee pot, or minibar. Roxy's restaurant was very good with huge portions, and friendly staff- in fact, all the staff were extremely helpful and courteous The Top of the World restaurant was very good, but the prices were, in a word, ridiculous Getting to anywhere else on the "Strip" required a taxi, and a minimum $20 tab each way. The Monorail (not the hotel's fault) is a complete waste of money. As with everything in Vegas, you can't get to anything without the obligatory trip through a huge, cacophonous, smoke-filled maze that is the casino. Still, for the money it is a very good deal, and I would recommend it.

Walking the Strip you will be constantly bombarded with hawkers handing out "coupons" for restaurants and bars, trying to sell you show tickets and time shares. It is so annoying that you almost want to go hide in your room. Do not make eye contact, or even slow down or you'll spend half of your time dealing with them.

Good experience
The hotel is good, friendly front desk clerks, lot of things to do while at the hotel. The only downside is the location, it is too far away from the main casinos and where all the buzz is happening; but it's not a major problem if you are willing to walk two blocks and take the tram; for $5 it take you all the way to the other side of the strip, it's fast, clean and convenient. So bottom line.....I'll stay angain!!!

Take the tram for $5 you hop in and out for 2 hours, for $12 you do it for 24 hrs.

Super Bowl Getaway
The hotel location was perfect. The room was cool. The only problem was the bathroom. No water pressure took me forever to take a shower, the tub and bathroom sink clogged up everytime you used it. The buffet was good.

Great experience!!
It was awesome! Friendly staff, lots and lots of things to do in the hotel, casino, restaurant and bar that overlook Vegas, great view...overall it was awesome. I wish it would be a little closer to the strip but that wasn't a problem at all. The monorail station was only a couple of blacks away and for $5 it takes you anywhere on the strip.

Awesome Weekend
We wanted a fun trip for my fiance's 30th birthday. The Top of the World restaurant was definitely top notch...it left us all in amazement with the view and how great the food was! The restaurant was the one that made the trip so great!

Everything was fine
In general, great value, good deal -- nice place. BUT: Loud HVAC; one dirty drawer with leftover food, etc. in it -- need to improve housekeeping department there, and fix the HVAC

Great Hotel
I have zero complaints about this hotel. I would have to rate the beds as the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We will stay there again for sure.

Great Price/ lacking service and comfort
The price was great and for me it's a good location but it lacks good eating variety and quality. Room very plain no extra comfort options. NO FREE WIFI - NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!

Good hotel for budget minded people
Good hotel to stay if you want be away (but not too far) from the crazyness of the south strip casinos, nightclubs and the sea of people! The room did not have a coffee maker nor a minifridge and I think the hot water temp is regulated when you take a shower; other than that it was O.K. The staff were friendly and Roxy's diner was very convenient. The view of L.V. from the Tower was awesome! Did not use the other amenities.

The glitz and glamour starts about 2 miles south of the Stratosphere but be prepared to bring a lot of money because almost everything is very expensive!

Good value for the money
I had an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately in getting to the main part of the strip I either had to walk a significant distance or take a cab. The staff was extremely pleasant! I enjoyed my stay and I would go back again.
