GeneralSituated in the Nevada desert and just minutes from the Gateway to Death Valley, the Atomic Inn offers a great location to experience this desert getaway. Guests can visit local attractions including the ghost town of Rhyolite or the Amargosa River that runs through the town. If indoors is more to your liking, experience the shopping in local stores or spend an afternoon at the local casinos.
Adventure abounds for those who would like to see the desert surroundings. Day trips and off road tours are available to experience Death Valley National Park. Entering into Death Valley, guests can stop at Hells Gate to experience the sudden change in temperature and the amazing view of Death Valley itself.

A little out of the park, but not too far. There is no pzazz about this Motel 6. It is basic but clean and non smoking room made it perfect to crash after a long hard day in Death Valley National Park. Staff was courteous. There were places to eat (Denny's and Subway) right next door. Plenty of parking. 23" TV with basic channels and HBO.
All in all, a comfortable stay.

Close enough to Death Valley. Affordable. Have basic things you need.
