MileNorth, A Chicago Hotel

The Affinia Hotel Chicago was great. We stayed in a Junior Suite and I was blown away by the space. I have stayed in rooms in New York, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco, etc., for about the same money and they were nowhere near as big as this room. In fact, this room was probably twice the size of those other rooms. The service at the hotel was superb and all of the staff as friendly and helpful as you would expect. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the hotel was 7 blocks or so from the nearest working EL train station. This wouldn't normally be the case, but the Red Line Train in the Loop was under construction. Otherwise, the location was great, just a block off Michigan Avenue. I would definitely stay at the Affinia again, and I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

My stay at The Affinia was wonderful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with modern styling. You feel like you're are somewhere special, not just a regular hotel. We felt very at home there after only a couple nights. The location in Chicago is perfect. The staff seemed happy and were more than willing to help us and make our stay more pleasureable. They also have some very nice free amenities. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my choice at The Affinia.

The Affinia was very nice. One exception was the renovation that was going on.

The Affinia Hotel was a great spot for our 4 day getaway. We had never been to Chicago and the staff was very helpful with giving us maps and directing us with places to go. The hotel is located a block away from the Magnificent Mile and dangerously close to Gino's East - we wanted pizza every time we'd head back to the hotel! We like to walk so everything we wanted to do was in walking distance for us - we only took the el once for a Cubs game. We also enjoyed a drink at the roof top bar! The staff at the Affinia were very welcoming, always gretting us as we came and left the hotel. The hotel is newly updated and our room was very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others!

I'm sure this hotel will move out of our price range when the construction is complete, but it was a great deal for the location and I'd love to go back!

I booked this hotel knowing it was undergoing a renovation and even though there was a small amount of construction in the lobby on one day, no one would have guessed it was undergoing a full facelift. The location can't be beat for nightlife, restaurants and seeing the sights. The staff was excellent, the room very clean and the bed/bedding were so comfortable! I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Hotel was under construction while I was there, but was still a great place to stay, particularly since I didn't need an onsite restaurant or fitness center.

The staff at the hotel amde my stay with my mother and sister as if we were at home. They were very special to us and our welcome was great! The hotel is beautiful, it is very chic and modern. The rooms were huge!! I live in New York city and there is no space her, but at Affinia in Chicago the rooms were gigantic. The bathroom was very clean and modern, it made me not want to go out of the shower. I willd definitly go back with my fiance to Affinia Chicago.

This Affinia is undergoing a major renovation and to the guest appears to be nothing more than a front desk, elevator and rooms. However, the front desk staff are wonderful people, the elevator worked every time and the room was renovated and was in Affinia style - very chic and comfortable. We loved it! And the price was phenomenal, due to the inconvenience of the renovation. When it's done, I'm sure it will be very nice, but priced competitively with the other nice hotels in the area.

My experience at the Affinia was superb most impart to the night host manager, Milton. His kindness to deliver a room that most fit my needs, his care to insure that my travels to and from the hotel were secured, and his willingness to assist in any questions that I had for him about the hotel or the city of Chicago were greatly appreciated. I was extremely pleased with the staff, room, and ammenities while staying at the Affinia, and I look forward to staying at this hotel the next time I stay in Chicago. The hotel location was fantastic as well.
