Kauai Beach Resort

Staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Grounds are beautiful and perfect for our children.

from vallet parking to check out everything was smoothly flowed. definitely recommend this hotel to family travelers and people who don't want to spedn huge money on accomodaion. highly recommended

After a long day of travel it was like arriving in paradise. Staff was nice and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nice especially the omelette bar.

This resort is 2 miles from town and the local bus stop. Be prepared to pay taxi fares if you don't rent a car. The hotel has you sign a contract that states that you won't bring food into the room. No ice chests allowed. The onsite restaurants have good food but the portions are small and it is not inexpensive. The waitresses have attitude instead of aloha. Our room smelled noticably dank and musty, so I told the front desk and they had housekeeping come in and he sprayed Febreeze around. There was no airco or fan in our room, so we had to leave the lanai door open all night. Our lanai looked out over an older roof and the floor needed to be cleaned, The bathroom light fixture needed to have the dead bugs cleaned out. TV reception was poor. The yoga instructor didn't show up for a scheduled class. The water in the swimming pool was cold. On the bright side the receptionists were extremely nice and efficient. The grounds were spacious and the beach is right in the backyard and it is a great beach for walking, long and beautiful. The massage at the spa was divine!

Children loved the pool.Staff was great. Should not charge for guest parking since we had to park in a dirt lot.

The hotel was a pretty good deal, but not a stellar. The food at the restaurant was okay, but a bit overpriced. The air conditioning thermostat didn't really work, so all we could do was either turn the AC on/off. If we left it on, it would get too cold, but leaving it off got a bit stuffy, so it was a little annoying to balance. The staff was very helpful, and the pools and beach on the resort were nice. The beach was too rocky to go swimming comfortably in, but it was a nice view.

I will stay this hotel again. The room was clean, the bed was confortable, and searvices were quick and consice, not too much. Concierge helped me to pic the best tours that fit my stay.

good food, great pools & tubs, on the beach and break water 20' out so nice area to walk in the water without issues of undertow

Was a nice looking place but the staff not too good. Mandatory valet parking @ $15 a day, old school tv, the breakfast buffet is a ripoff @ $21 - Big Boy is better @ $7, fees and gratuity added every where, staff is large and in charge and bullying, not polite and helpful as they should be at a place like this. They made me feel as if they thought I was lucky to be there when I think they are lucky to get my money. The beach was too windy to use.
