Kona Seaside Hotel

The location is perfect! Nice and quite yet close to downtown and some historic sites and everything is within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby looks great but the rooms look old; but for the price you pay its fair. The bathrooms are not well kept: some dripping ceilings and noise from the water pipes. The rooms and lobby are kept clean. Two things on down side are: 1) no coffee/coffee maker in rooms, coffee is served in lounge at odd hours 5am-7am when everyone is still sleeping except those with an early flight. Overall, I think its a good deal for the price you pay but with some little improvements it could be made a lot better.

ホテルはフロントの建物が５F建（プール有）、中庭に２F建のアネックス２棟、さらに奥に３F建てのアネックスがプールを囲むように建っています 部屋にSAFEはなく、エアコンはうるさいけど、広いしこの値段ならOKです フロントでは朝５－７AM、FREEのTEA＆COFFEEサービスを開始 アネックスを通り抜けメインストリートへ近道できるし、レストランやSCも歩いていける範囲にありビーチ（ピア）も目の前 でも泳げるビーチへはやはり車が必要 ９０分毎に無料シャトルでホテル前の港からコナの南の方にはいけま （フロントにタイムテーブル有）　 ちなみに空港からはTAXIで＄３０位（＋TIP)、溶岩ツアーのヘリやセスナはコナ発はヒロの２倍以上の金額でした

I have stayed at various places and this was the best.

Hôtel très bien placé, d'un prix extrêmement intéressant mais non équipé pour chauffer l'eau du petit déjeuner, faire un expresso ou un thé: dommage. Très bruyant à partir de 4h du matin (rammssage poubelles et autres passages bruyants). Laz propreté est remarquable. Connection internet payante de façon exorbitante(10,95 dollars la journée!!!) et qui n'a pas fonctionné apèrs le paiement (très désagréable). En bref : très bon rapprt qualité -prix mais ne pas attendre les services d'un 2 ou 3 *.

The location is good, convenient to Kailua Kona, to the shops and restaurants. Parking at the hotel was extra, not included in the room price, and the s0-called Continental Breakfast was only coffee! Also, I never got to use the pool because it closes at 6:00 p.m. and we were busy during the day. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to use the pool. The grounds are gorgeous, colorful and lush and well maintained. The hotel was quiet, of course, I don't know what the occupancy rate was. I was a little concerned about security because the room keys are regular old-fashioned keys with the room numbers printed on the key! The room was clean, the beds comfortable, air-conditioned with a lovely lanai looking out over a beautiful garden. The bathroom was small and the lighting was poor, I wasn't able to read in the tub. The curtains weren't double-lined so the morning light shines in, but all in all, it was an inexpensive hotel in a good location and it was clean and quiet and well maintained. We put in a request for extra pillows and they complied immediately.

Great staff, friendly and courteous. Room was clean, fresh clean towels daily.

We came in at midnight and it was very busy. It was hard to find a parking space. The staff was friendly, but the room had no air conditioning and was not very clean. We were glad to be out of there by 6 a.m. the next morning.

The hotel is family-owned and very friendly. Our room was pleasant and had a good view. We used it as a base to explore the western side of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is also near a nice beach and many shops and restaurants. The hotel has a good restaurant and two clean swimming pools.

この価格であれば十分に満足できるホテルだと思います。 DelauxeRoomに宿泊しましたが，別に友人が泊まったStandardRoomとは階が違うだけで部屋の作りは大体同じ。安いホテルだけど，景色をそれなりに楽しみたい人は上のランク，とにかく安くという方はStandardでいいのでは。ただし，私たちが宿泊したのは概要ページの5階建ての棟で，他にもいくつか離れがあるようでそちらは部屋を見ていないのでわかりません。 場所はコナのほとんど中心。歩いて数分で中心地に出れますし，夜2時まで開いてい スーパーマーケット（朝は5時から）も徒歩で行けるのは助かりました。スーパーには，大体なんでもあります。 設備は，他の方が書いているとおり。付け加えると，駐車場はホテルの敷地内が有料，すぐ隣に無料の駐車場もあります。昼間は満車になってしまいますが，朝でて夜帰ってくるようでしたら十分無料の駐車場を利用できます。

We stayed in a tower room. It was neat and tidy. The staff brought us a microwave and coffee maker at no charge. We wanted to roam around Kona, sightsee and swim. It is nicely located for shopping in Kona. The air conditioning works, but is a bit antiquated. We have stayed in condos before, this was an acceptable alternative that was closer to shopping, but for a two week stay, it was a bit claustrophobic.
