Staybridge Suites ATLANTA-BUCKHEAD

The Staybridge hotel was an excellent value for a recent work trip. The hotel was safe and the staff was very friendly.

Everything was great. Its quiet and very comfortable. It was the perfect location to everything. Only took 15 minutes depending on where I wanted to go.

This hotel was in the process of being remodeled when I stayed there. But our room was still decently outfitted. It's a studio suite. So it has a fridge, stovetop, microwave, sink, dishes and silverware, etc. The location was good and the staff was very friendly. Here are the things that I didn't like as much. Please note that these are not huge marks against the hotel, but just things I would have liked to be better. They are listed in no particular order. 1. The free breakfast was "ok". the scrambled eggs were a bit runny and the layout was odd. This might have been related to the remodeling though, so I'm not sure. 2. The parking garage was very narrow. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents there. But maybe because it's so narrow, people pay even more attention and don't drive too fast. 3. The elevators are very slow as well. It is actually quicker to walk outside and up the parking garage (dangers included) to get to the next floor than to take the elevator. 4. There is no oven. I'm not sure where you would put one in the tiny kitchenette. But, it would be nice if there was one for a longer stay. That's about it for the negatives. Like I said, they are pretty minor, but I thought should be noted. The hotel has DVD movies that you can borrow to watch in your room. But the selection is not all that large or great. And "the pantry", which is their mini-store in the hotel, doesn't really have a lot of things in it either. Mostly microwave pizzas. But it does have medicines and bottled waters, etc. so it's good it's there. Basically, if this hotel was about 25% cheaper, it would be a nice bargain. But at its current price, it needs to have its make-over completed before staying there. Overall, I would stay there again if I am in the area.

The location was great, but honestly, it was not really worth even the promotional price I was able to attain. I am also having to contact the hotel directly because they billed me the full price of the room, after paying this site. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, but have also contacted me credit card company just to make sure this is resolved. The only advise I can give if you stay here is to be sure this does not happen to you.

Had a good, though short visit. Was impressed with everything but the breakfast room staff - who loudly complained about the 'stupid guests' who made a mess of the waffle maker. Ice maker in the room did not function either - not good in 100+ degree weather. The room did not get cleaned over the weekend but the maid service people did knock on the door at 6 pm to see if anything was needed. Plus side was the great Italian restaurant right next door.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in close proximity to our son's loft in Buckhead. Prices in this part of Atlanta are very high. We were thrilled to find Staybridge Suites. We were close to his place, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We did not use any of the amenities so I cannot comment on them. I will definitely stay there again!!

Love it. The parking was great, breakfast tasty, rooms were clean and orderly, the staff was pleasent. Will stay everytime I visit Atlanta.
