Sheraton Vistana Resort - All Villa Resort in Lake Buena Vista

Ideal location just minutes from Downtown Disney and the I4 yet a world away in terms of piece and quiet. This is a large resort and caters for all tastes and family groupings but some how manages to be classy. Our apartment was roomy with Jacuzzi and balcony. 100m from one of the superb pools. Just about perfect.

We stayed at this resort during a trip to Disney world. It was fantastic! We had a two bedroom, two bath Villa which gave us plenty of space. It was very nice to have the second bathroom. The big bonus for us was the 18" deep pool for our kids (ages 3.5 and 1.5) to play in. It was the perfect depth for them to really have fun in the water. The location is great. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. This was a home run and I'll definitely book here again in the future.

We took our 5 year old to Disney World. Great resort to stay away from home. And Disney World was just 7 minutes away. Would stay again.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised with our villa. The room was very clean and obviously recently renovated. Each room had its own excellent bathroom. The master bathroom even had a jet tube. The property is also great. We went to Cascade pool several times. The water was warm and clean. They keep it open until 1AM, so a couple of times after coming back from Disney we would just go to the pool to chill before going to bed. The location is excellent, but you definitely want to rent a car to move around. There are several restaurants in the area and a few places to do grocery shopping. You will save some money by at least preparing and eating your own breakfast. The kitchen in the villa is well stocked with pots, dishes, utensils, etc..., so you should not have any problems preparing a simple meal. I would highly recommend this place.

We just spent 8 nights in a 2 bed 2 bath villa at the Sheraton Vistana and it was great. My family spent most days at the theme parks, but it was great to have the Sheraton waiting for us, with large pools and cold drinks ready at the end of a long day. The resort is big and has lots of pool options from quiet to rockin, including play areas, put-put golf, basketball and tennis courts and a water slide that our girls loved (8, 6 & 4 yrs old). The location is close to Disney, near restaurants and a Wal-Mart is down the street for anything you might have forgot to pack. The only improvement the resort needs is a high quality restaurant on site. The food available is typical bar food it's OK, if they add higher quality food and maybe a 4 or 5 star sit down restaurant on site I would give them 5 stars.

Very pretty, clean, reasonably close to parks.. we choose the property for a family suite... the 1st day we lost power in one bedroom and one bath due to an electrical short... they came after 8am to fix it.. I awake at 5... The toaster almost electrocuted my daughter, it took me taking the toaster to the front desk day 2 to get a new one... we were given a "late check out" for the inconvenience. The worst part of the whole trip was you do not know until you arrive that it associated to a "time share" offering, felt obligated to oblige the "60 mins" which turned into 3 hrs... I missed my granddaughters Bibbitty Bobbity Boo experience... The price was right, but remember you get what you pay for !!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how upscale and attractive this property is! The pictures don't so it justice. The room was very nicely upgraded and very clean. Will definitely bring our two kids here in the fall for our first family Disney trip.

Bad weather in NYC on March 12 caused a 9 - 10 hour delay in our arrival at the resort. The very helpful personnel at the desk at 2AM had received no reservation request or confirmation from you and indicated that we were unexpected guests without a room. Only after I provided a credit card was I able to get a room for the first night (now 3 AM). Some hours later the resort and the booking agency were able to resolve the booking. My disappointment is with you, not the resort.

This is good value for money -- especially if you have kids and don't want to be stuffed into one hotel room. The only drawback was the sloooowwww check in. They could not find our reservation, which was frustrating. And at some point, a manager thought of making a copy of our reservation and checking up on it and not making us wait any longer. Thank goodness. But other than that, wonderful place. We would definitely want to go back! Close to theme parks, the outlet and plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from.

Overall, the hotel isn't too bad. I would recommend getting the most upgraded rooms, as they are the nicest and closest to the main pool. The downside - If you are not on the top floor, you can hear the people staying above you, and it is very loud. We were in a room on the bottom floor the first two nights, and the second night people stayed above us. We could hear everywhere they walked, everything they did, and every flush of the toilet. When we called management, they were courteous and moved us the next day into a better, upgraded room on the top floor. But, on the top floor, you can even hear the people who are staying in the rooms next to yours. If you don't have an issue with this, then there is really no issues with this hotel. Additionally, we got resort credit through an offer, and employees around the hotel didn't seem to know what they were for and where they were valid. We could use them somewhere one day, and they wouldn't take it the next day. So, the hotel would be better off if they educated their staff better on the use of these coupon books/resort credit. Finally, they are obsessed with getting you to come to the lobby and getting this welcome package, and then trying to get you to come to this breakfast for an hour and a half so that they can try to convince you to buy into their hotel. They do offer a lot - free breakfast and about $100 off of park admission - if you go, but they are relentless. The guy called our room every day trying to get us to go, so that got a little annoying when we are on vacation and didn't want to go to the breakfast. They need to just take no for an answer and stop trying to push you to do it. On the bright side, their pool is really nice and there is a bar there to order food and drinks poolside with a waitress walking around. They do activities throughout the week which seemed fun for the kids. The marketplace is nice and offers various items that you might need at a grocery store as well as a deli to get fresh sandwiches, and coffee. I don't know if I'd recommend it to other places. We did have a really good time and after moving into the new room, things got a lot better. I didn't hate it, but I'm not sure that I would go back again, as I've stayed at comparable resorts at about the same price and didn't hear the other residents living around me.
