Don't let the outside look fool you

We booked an "exterior corridor" room. Didn't look very nice from the outside, but the room was surprisingly clean. We got there fairly late and left early the next morning, so we didn't get to use the pool or fitness center. Breakfast was good, though. We had dinner at the restaurant located right next door.

The location suited us well, and there was plenty available close to the hotel for meals, etc. We were in town for our daughters softball tournament and the location worked well for travel.

The Flamingo Inn was an OK place to stay. Nothing fancy, but worked well. The beds were not too comfortable and squeaked. Was a very short walk to the beach which was great. It's a little further south sown the beach than where most of the action seemed to be so it wasn't noisy at all.

this hotel is well located for our purposes. we took trips from here to visit friends and relatives in the area and had easy access to rt,41 and i-75. the hotel is not new but has been up-dated and well maintained. it's aood deal for the money.

It had a good size room that allowed you to do more than just sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The over all experience was great. The only thing that would have made it better was if they had breakfast. But then the price would have change. There is a close McDonalds. Thanks, I will stay there again. Carol

Not luxurious, but not a dump. In the middle- just like the price. Very nice staff. It's an extended stay hotel so was great to have a a mini kitchen to bring leftovers back to fridge and microwave. Very quiet. Very nice staff. No pool though. No daily housekeeping unless requested- not really needed if short stay. Wi-Fi was great. Easy and smooth check-in process. Very close to beaches, restuarants, and tourist attractions.

The staff was so helpful to me. I was traveling alone to attend a funeral and was a bit overwhelmed. Whether I needed help connecting to the internet or a spoon and fork for a late night snack, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

I was looking for a good deal for spring break, away from the college kids and any kids for that matter. The room were very clean and comfortable. Loved the ease of breakfast downstairs. I enjoyed the exercise room and swimming pool daily. The pool and exercise room was virtually guest free during the week. The weekend saw a wave of kids for sports tournaments, leaving the pool crowded. Loved the short trip from the airport.

All the staff was was excellent there, very nice not one bad complaint. We enjoyed our stay there and all the amendenties that came with it ex. outdoor fireplace and fitness room and social hour with food, and breakfast was great every day !

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was warm, though a bit small, but perfect for our family. The room was fabulous, with a king bed area with a tv and a wall partition with a sleeper sofa and another tv on the other side for the kids. Our major complaint is that during our two day stay housekeeping never showed up.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting family in Fort Myers. It is consistently clean and pleasant every time. The staff is generally friendly and helpful; many have been there for years. The value is excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was fine, employees very friendly but when a hotel is only 50% full and they put everyone on the same floor next to each other making noises from room to room it does not work well for those of us that thought we would sleep.

For the price this hotel was as expected, and better than most of the reviews I had seen on it. The room was clean, the pool was good, and the location was fine for easy access about town as long as you are not wanting views. The only two negative aspects were the front desk hostesses could have been more friendly and given area tips and advice (they were not unfriendly just there) and the breakfast gets old, some fruit or a hard boiled egg would be nice (waffle, cereal, oatmeal is it).

Outside leaves something to be desired. But inside appears to have be recently redone. I needed a quiet place to sleep. Walking distance to great places to eat and a very good natural foods grocery store. Easy access to major travel routes.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment.

This hotel is located just a few minutes from two great beaches (Sannibel and Ft Myers Beach). We love to visit both beaches so it's idea for the price. Nice new rooms, big refrigerator, stove, microwave, free washer/dryers in the laundry room and if no one else is using them there's 3 or 4 washers and 3 or 4 dryers! The kids loved it. There's a wildlife pond in the back with two small alligators you can see (very safe! the kids liked it). Easy to get to anything you need groceries, pharmacy, food, beaches. VERY SAFE area tucked away in a business development. Very new! I would go there again without hesitation and I'm picky. I would give it a 5 if they had a hot tub and continental breakfast. That's the only two things missing on our stay. Excellent service/friendly workers!!!
