Tuscana Resort Condominium

The Condo was very clean and kept up. We liked the mattress so well, we're going to try to find one like it for home. The girls loved having their own beds. So much better than a hotel room. The washer and dryer were handy, too. We were on the go so much that we really weren't here much. Wish we could have spent more than 3 nights to have more time to hang out at the pool. Be aware that they require a damage deposit (refundable) or a $40 flat fee for insurance (non-refundable). Otherwise, great place to stay.

Great location between Disney and LegoLand. WE had an amazing time. Very friendly people, close to stores, places to eat and attractions. The pool is beautiful and staff excellent.

We really enjoyed the tranquility of the Tuscana. Having a washing machine and kitchen were added bonuses!

The resort location is ideal and the setting is very pituresque. We enjoyed our stay and would perhaps consider staying again. Perhaps. The condos are beautifully decorated and the floor plan is great. We were not at all impressed however with the overall lack of cleanliness of the condo. Upon arrival we actually had to clean the kitchen and the dining room area as there was a greasy stovetop, countertops and the microwave.The dining table and even the framed artworks needed to be wiped down as they were all icky. We traveled 14 hours by car and did not expect to have to clean up upon arrival. Also our landline phones were inoperable during our entire stay, even after reporting it to the hotel staff. There were missing remote controls to two of the three t.v.s, the sink in the master bath was clogged (upon arrival) and there were light bulbs missing from the lamps. We were given a first floor condo and we needed to change as we were traveling with our 17 year old daughter and because the window treatments did not allow adequate privacy. We requested a change and were told that was not possible because we were in a managed area. ?????? Not sure what that means. So at night we safety pinned sheets to the existing non closing drapes. Also, speaking of sheets, the ones on the beds smelled like body odor. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer of which we used immediately to wash all of the linens including the bedspreads and the towels. That's how we spent our first evening. We also experience air conditioner breakdown in 101 degree weather. It was taken care of promply. We had access to a vacuum cleaner but no extra bags as the one in the vacuum was full. That too was taken care of promply. There was also mildew in the showers. I do think that there should be more care taken in the upkeep of the property. More thorough cleaning please.

Great all around hotel. Nice three bedroom condo good for a family, lots of room. It is located away from Disney attractions but only a few minutes drive. Close to Champions Gate golf course. Very comfortable beds.

Good location for groceries, Disney and golf courses.

Out of the way location at the end of a road but you can access Orlando attractions easily. The layout of the 2 bedroom condo was functional but you can hear people from every location inside. Minimal staff but they do handle problems quickly (ie. our key card wouldn't work fixed within 1 hour of complaint). However, we did have a maid walk in our unit to ask if we rented it. Pool was nice.

It wasn't as nice as they described in the website. The front desk staff could be more friendly.

We stayed here for two nights over Christmas. We are newlyweds and wanted to spend our first Christmas together in Orlando. Overall the property is nice, but we were SO turned off by all of the threats for charges. You have to sign a contract that outlines all of the different charges ($25 per trash bag left in the room, $250 for pets and so on), they put a $300 hold on your cc for incidentals, as soon as you walk into the bathroom there is yet another sign outlining what else they might charge you for... When we were checking in one of the staff was on the phone with a customer yelling about how they were going to charge them for trash left behind. Apparently they dug through the bags and found luggage tags that identified the trash leavers. What is our $40 cleaning fee for??? We had to mention upon checkout that the room was not equipped with a DVD player, just to help ensure they don't charge us for one. I'll be checking my credit card statement... What a buzz kill!
