Fairmont San Jose

NBA playoffs were on, but tv is hard to navigate. No free premium channels. No guide on screen to see what's on!! No vents in bathroom, and room not that clean. Location was great, staff(valet) were quick and nice. Coffee machine a joke.

My husband and I went to Improv to see Edwin San Juan and stayed overnight at the Fairmont. This hotel has the perfect location. Many nearby restaurants that you can walk to. We were able to walk to the Improv as well so that was a treat. Hotel was clean with many friendly staff. The hotel itself also had plenty of restaurants to enjoy from. We had Sunday brunch but that was just okay. Not too many selections and food was not that great for the price. Will definitely return here again.

What a neat hotel to just get away from everyday life and stay at! We are locals and love this property for special occasions like birthdays. It is easy walking distance to Original Joes or Il Fornaio restaurants. The staff are so helpful and happy looking!! Their Fountain restaurant now offers gluten-free food, and other special dietary selections....great idea!

With a grande Holiday in the park right outside it's doors, the fairmont hotel is a perfect home away from home for the holidays. Ice skating, fun food and rides for all ages is a great environment for the whole family. The rooms are spacious and the staff is superb. This hotel is highly recommended.

Pulled up and valet parking was excellent, easy check-in right away! Great lobby, great Chinese dining inside and very convenient! The view from our room was excellent over-seeing downtown San Jose. The restrooms were also very spacious and the room was a great size! The spa area was enjoyed dearly by my wife. I plan to stay here again in the near future, everything was excellent :)

My two kids and myself really enjoyed the room amenities and comfort. Great location being that it is right next to the outdoor skating rink and Christmas in the Park

The Fairmont downtown San Jose is a nice hotel for a short weekend getaway. Friendly staff that was very helpful and always willing to answer any questions. Location is central with many restaurants and museums within walking distance. If you do plan to eat a meal at a nearby restaurant be sure to go early, many do not have late night hours. Tip: if visiting on weekend, street parking is cheap and free all day Sunday's and after 6pm. Way cheaper than Valet. Overall a great stay and will stay again.

The bedroom was bigger than my daughter's first apartment. The stay was 6 nights and I felt at home every minute. The price was more than worth the value of the room. I would stay at this hotel anytime.

I found this to be a great weekend away from San Francisco and it's miserable summer. The hotel was great though the prices at the restaurants, caffes and shops was more in the Ritz Carlton range yet the hotel was more like an Omni. The front desk staff were great and the pool was perfect, just too many kids.

I attended the 22nd Annual Jazz Fests, one of the largest in the world. The Fairmont was located at center stage. I was there for 3 days, two nights and every moment was enjoyable and more!! All the amenities, from food services to luxurious in-room robes added to the experience. My kids and grand kids came by to join me at pool side and we had a blast! Everything was in walking distance from restaurants, both 5 star and mom and pop; grocery store, night life, public transit - taking the VTA Light Rail was easy and fun. I will be back with friends!!
