Courtyard by Marriott Oakland Downtown

Stayed in Oakland to enjoy the weekend with the family. Accommodations were great. Staff was very helpful and willing to accommodate. Breakfast was outstanding and more than made up for the $20.00 overnight parking fee. Rooms were surprisingly quit for being downtown. My sleep was never interrupted all night. Had a minor glitch with the free breakfast for my family. They fixed it right away with a smile. I would stay there again.

Staff pointed me in the right direction for good restaurants and offered 'spot on' directions to locations I was going. To top it off they extended my checkout time (at no cost) to accommodate a late business meeting. Windows in the room actually opened to let in a fresh breeze and sounds of the city.

I was in Oakland for a conference. The hotel is across the street from the Convention Center; very convenient. The BART station is very close to the hotel, which made it convenient for traveling to and from the Oakland Airport and into S.F. Jack London square was a ten minute walk down Broadway and Lake Merritt is about a 15-20 minute walk, as well. We had a very comfortable stay. Our bed was a 7 on a scale of 10. The room was clean. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. We had breakfast both mornings downstairs in the hotel and it was very good. I would stay here again.

Our stay at courtyard Oakland was wonderful. The hotel staff was super great, from the front desk reception/check-in, right down to housekeeping. The staff was professional, friendly, helpful and kind. My wife and I always stay at a courtyard whenever we can. Great buffet breakfast, eggs cooked to order. Courtyard hotels have everything you need for quick overnight business trips... Thanks

despite central downtown location hotel was very quiet. 1 block from Marriott convention center at 1/2 the price. only complaint was there was horrible temperature control on water; either extremely hot or ice cold leading to an unbearable shower. unfortunately this was a major detraction from an otherwise decent experience

Great staff, great place to stay for the price! It was just a block from the BART station and made our trip that much easier!

Had the "free" breakfest offer thru orbitz but hotel didnt want to give it to us. make sure u print out offer and take it w/ you! finally got the meal - really good food!

The budget location with the high end up the street. Excellent service, friendly and right at China Town. Slim on amenities but a good value.

The Courtyard by Marriot in Downtown Oakland is a great place to stay if your visiting the area and want a nice quite place to enjoy the beautiful city. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite cozy and make you feel not far from home. With ample space in the rooms which include a large bathroom with a seperate vanity area along with a king size bed with soft comfy pillows your bound to relax in the comforts close to home.
