if you want a cool, modern style hotel with very comfortable beds, nice pillows etc, this hotel is just for you. I also stayed in NH vienna before, so I was sure to find the same quality in hamburg also. And I really did!

Short walk from hotel
use 23, 160, or 161 bus lines to reach U-2 (metro line) stop named Horner Rennbahn. From there, you will be in the city center in 10 minutes with a very efficient and clean metro system.

Ich habe mit Freunden ein Wochenende
Ich habe mit Freunden ein Wochenende in Hamburg verbracht. Das NH Hamburg Horn ist ein relativ gutes Hotel. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Ausstattung. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist akzeptabel. Leider ist das Personal recht unmotiviert und teilweise sogar unfreundlich. Es dauert sehr lang, bis am Frühstücksbuffet nachgefüllt wird. Das Dampfbad in der Sauna hat nicht funktioniert. Der "Wellnessbereich" ist bereits leicht veraltet, auf einer Steinliege lösten sich bereits die Fliesen. Die Sauberkeit insgesamt ist aber recht ok. Man sollte aber darüber nachdenken, in der Saunaumgebung auch angenehme Temperaturen zu schaffen - wir haben gefroren. Es gab dort keine funktionierenden Heizungen.

Comfortable, quiet, clean and friendly.
Out of the center of Hamburg, this hotel is very pleasant for the price. It's located on the edge of a steeple chase horse track. We skipped the breakfast (16 euro per person) and traveled to eat each day. We chose the hotel on the basis of it's location, near where our son is attending school. U-bahn station with small shopping center and bus transport is quite convenient, within about 300 yards. Disadvantage is that it's not really near any larger shopping/tourist area without a short ride on public transport...not bad, though. We had rented a car, but this is not needed unless one is traveling outside Hamburg for some reason
