Maritim Hotel Dusseldorf

I stayed at this hotel prior to a departing flight. It was comfortable.

No free wifi and when you pay for it if your device times out you have to re connect to it. Restaurants at the hotel are very limited and not open every day. Mini bar is stocked but overpriced, 4 euros for small bottle of water!! If you need an adapter you have to leave a 10 euro deposit. BUT if you must be close to the airport and train it's a good option. Rooms are spacious and clean, windows open and nice big windows.

It does not get any better for this price. The room was in perfect condition and very stylish. The common areas are very appealing.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich durch eine gute Lage zum Flughafen aus. Es ist eine gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit vor einer weiten Flugreise, da alles fussläufig erreichbar ist. Es ist ein sauberes mit ausreichendem Komfort ausgestattes Hotel mit großen modernen Zimmern mit schönen Bädern. Wir würden es immer wieder buchen.

It was super nice, also nice restaurants within the building. The only "trick", it said it has wireless, there is no such thing for free, you have to buy it, sign up, that was a surprise, if you are used to the US. Anyway, it was clean, friendly and helpful people and we'd book it again in a heartbeat. Also, just walk through to the airport - really convenient. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice (but pricy) hotel directly at the Dusseldorf airport. It is very convenient for people who need to catch a flight early the next morning. Walking distance to the airport is 2 minutes. There are two restaurants in the hotel and a breakfast restaurant. The hotel is great, but for this high price I would have expected free internet in the room. Instead one has to pay 8 euros for 1 hour. Because of this, I only gave 3 stars for the amenities. Otherwise this is the perfect hotel for the business or affluent traveler who wants to get a good night's rest before an early flight the next day.

I spend one night and was perfect, the location, the room service and room confort. I will come back again.

I had an overnight layover and stayed at the Maritim with my wife and 11-month-old daughter. The staff was great, taking care of all necessary arrangements to make sure the baby was comfortable. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the lobby and the food and staff were also very good. I made several long-distance phone calls to Greece and the US and expected to pay an arm and a leg, but they charged me a VERY reasonable 5-euros. I really appreciate that. The location couldn't be better. It's about 100 meters/yards from the airport entrance. It was so convenient, we strolled over a couple times to buy some snacks and to walk around. We tried to book on the return leg, but we (unfortunately) decided to try the Sheraton. It was like night and day--no comparison. I will recommend the Maritim to all my friends.

This is a world-class hotel for business people rushing in-and-out of Dusseldorf. It does the job extremely well, with its modern, well-appointed rooms and its proximity to the airport. Walking to and from the airport terminal makes it extemely attractive. It is a very quiet, efficient hotel, without bells and whistles. So, do not expect a Las Vegas atmosphere.
