Hotellet har utomordentliga mötesrum som kan ta upp till 5500 personer. Alla mötes- och bankettrum är utrustade med modern teknologi för att tillgodose alla krav, från ett mindre möte till en informell fest. Quite nice overall. If you want to be close to the Berlin Philharmonic, this is the place. Surprisingly quiet that close to Potsdammer Platz.

Perfect Location with Style
Took breakfast at the hotel, staff were very helpful and food was top notch. The room was quite well decorated and very roomy for just one person. The Location though was the best - five minutes away from Potsdamer Platz meant that I was in the middle of the action. I enjoyed the ease at which the hotel could provide information, help and tickets for tours and places to eat. I will certainly stay there every time I return to Berlin

inveterate Berlin visitor
Hotel Maritim Berlin
We were in Berlin visiting friends and visiting museums we hadn't been to in a long time. This hotel has the perfect location for all of that. It is very close to several important museums, it's a few minutes away from the lively Potsdamer Platz, and there is convenient bus service to all of the other cultural venues. It is a very nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The restaurants are a bit pricey, breakfast as well, and the parking costs are very high, even for this center city location

A great hotel for a great city.
The stay at the Hotel Maritim in Berlin was wonderful. It is located a short 3 minute walk from the Tiergarten and has a taxi stand less than a block away so the concierge can have a taxi for you in even less time. The staff at the front desk were very nice and informative. The room was spacious and spotless. I can't comment on the pool or restaurant though as I didn't try them.

Sightseeing tips:
Long walk from hotel
If you want a great photo of the Brandenburg Gate, get there early. It is difficult to get a shot with out people walking in front of you if you get there midday or later. Earlier in the morning, say around 8 or 9 AM, it should be pretty empty and easy to get a good shot.

Although a bit away from the Unter
Although a bit away from the Unter den Linden it offers very good price-quality. I would stay there again.
