The Hotel Kolumbus is quiet and located close to the city centre in the borough of Lichtenberg. Its convenient location in the North-East of Berlin is marked by good transit connections to the city centre, easy accessibility without emissions sticker as well as free parking. The city centre can be reached directly by tram to the Alexanderplatz. The tram stop is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The Hohenschnhausen Memorial, the former Stasi (State Security) remand centre, is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The same is true for the Sports Forum Hohenschnhausen with the Olympic Support Centre Berlin.
