- The Kaiserdamm in the centre of West-Berlin is easily reachable by public transportation or by car. Numerous commuter train (S-Bahn), subway (U-Bahn), tram and bus lines are just a short walk away from the Kaiserdamm: S-Bahn "Messe Nord/ICC", U-Bahn U2 "Kaiserdamm", bus number 139. We are is just 150m (500 ft) from the Berlin central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof am Funkturm). The Kurfrstendamm, the KaDeWe (world famous department store), Schloss Charlottenburg (18th century palace), Olympic Stadium, Theater des Westens and other major attractions of our Capital: Alexanderplatz, Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag building, Friedrichstrasse and Potsdamer Platz, Technische University and Berlin Zoo can be reached in approximately 7 to 12 minutes.

Nie wieder!
Habe das Hotel kurzfristig gebucht um das Pokalendspiel zu sehen. Da ich schon mehrere Aufenthalte in Berlin genießen durfte habe ich Vergleichsmöglichkeiten und dieses Hotel war mit Abstand das schlimmste. Erst wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass kein Zimmer mehr frei ist, zum Glück hatte ich meine Ebookers-Reservierung ausgedruckt und konnte diese vorweisen. Mir wurde dann nach 10min doch noch ein Zimmer zugeteilt. Das Zimmer war zwar recht groß aber total abgewohnt, das Bad voller Haare und Teppichboden etc. dreckig und verwahrlost. Nachts war bis 3 Uhr ein Betrieb auf dem Flur, dass an schlafen nicht zu denken war. eine Gruppe spanischer Mädels knallte alle 10min die Türen und man konnte Gespräche in Nachbarzimmern ohne Probleme verstehen. Der Fernseher ist aus dem Jahr 1980 mit ca. 30cm Diagonale. Von 25 Programmen waren nur 5 ohne grieseln und rauschen zu ertragen. Das Frühstück setzt dem ganzen dann die Krone auf. Der Kaffee so dünn wie Tee, die Brötchen zum aufbacken und die Auswahl an Wurst und Käse lächerlich (jeweils schlechteste Qualität aus dem Discounter, nur 2 Sorten Wurst und Käse) Insgesamt das schlimmste Hotel in dem ich je übernachtet habe und das für 75€ PS: Zur Krönung durfte ich dann auch noch 12€ Kreditkartengebühr an Ebookers zahlen. Nepp vom Feinsten. Für 87 € in Summe das Niveau einer Jugendherberge. Das wird mir nicht mehr passieren!
