uitstekend gelegen hotel!
We, 3 women, stayed in the hotel for 4 days. The room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpfull, especially Veijsel. Beds were very good and the breakfast was delicious. Hotel is very near to tramway, Metro and boats to Asia (from Eminonu to Kadikoy) All the highlights are in the neighbourhood. A very good hotel! Pien

schlechtes Hotel
Leider muss ich klar feststellen, dass das Hotel schlecht ist. Kleines Zimmer und es wurde 1 Zimmer mit zwei Betten res. Erhalten haben wir ein Doppelbett und das für zwei Frauen. Uns wurde versprochen dass wir am nächsten Tag ein neues Zimmer erhalten. Aber dann wusste keiner mehr was. Uns wurde auch gesagt, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei, was nicht stimmte. Habn dann im Internet nachgeschaut. Wir sind dann in ein anderes Hotel umgezogen und wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Also Finger weg vom Gulhane Park., Auch das Personal sehr sehr unfreundlich.

very good location
Breakfast was poor and the same every 6 days we were in hotel. staff was friendly. Special offer - free sauna and massage - we have been asking about that for tree days and in the end they proposed mechanical massage (bed). Great location - most of attraction are close to the hotel.

Plus que tes bien mais pas parfait
3 grandes qualités : Situation, Propreté, Calme, Prix et terrasse au toit très agréable. 2 défauts : Prestation massage impossible à réaliser, petit déjeuner un peu trop "locale" à mon gout. À recommander de toute façon

Exceeded my Expectations!”
. A lovely, proffessionally-run hotel with friendly and helpful staff, close to many of the 'must see' locations in Istanbul. We were particularly impressed by the reception staff, Bayram, Veysel, and Arif, also the other staff . This excellent team is led by the manager Soner Onal who made us feel like special guests throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast always plentiful and well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening dinner. We will be recommending this hotel to any friends who plan to visit Istanbul.

Great location and excellent service”
Reviewed April 21, 2012 We stayed here for a total of six nights Along with the excellent free breakfast buffet and great rooms, the staff was very kind and hospitable throughout our stay at the Gulhane Park Hotel. The hotel was in very short walking distance from the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Gulhane Park, and many others. . I would like to thank the staff of the hotel, including the manager Mr.Sonor, the daytime desk receptionist Veysel Aydinc, Bayram Karabulut, and Atilla Kenar. Even though we use the public transport, there is a tram service running closeby. There is an internet station available at the lobby that was available most of the time. In all, we would like to stay there again if we return to Istanbul. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul If it happens to go again to Istanbul for another cultural event or vacations, we would like to stay again there.

sehr schönes Hotel - gerne wieder
Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Frühstück ist lecker und ausreichend. Kommen gerne wieder. sehr zentral gelegen, man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten alle zu Fuß erledigen, Straßenbahn ist auch ums Eck. Schöne Dachterrasse.

Good hotel in a good location.
The Gulhane Park Hotel is an ideal base for exploring the architectural, cultural and historical attractions of Istanbul, located close to the Topkapi Palace and Agia Sophia. We found the staff to be friendly and the service they provide nothing short of excellent. Although ranked as a four star hotel, compared with hotels in other cities in Europe and the USA, the Gulhane Park Hotel probably deserves a good three star ranking. That said. I would most definitely stay there again.
