Super friendly staff, great location
My review is based in due respect to the very low price I paid per night, I think one always has to take that in consideration. My room was extremely small and the heating was barely working. As it was quite cold in Istanbul, I did ask to make the heating work and they did. The room was very clean however and I felt comfortable. The Staff of the Hotel is extremely friendly and professional and they do speak very well english, once help is needed. Even the breakfast buffet is fair enough, again, this aint no 5 Star place and I knew that before. So overall a very good place to stay if your expectations aren't too high. Also very close to the famous Mosques and the incredible huge Bazaar.

Bon rapport qualité/prix
Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel malgré le fait que la première nuit nous avons été envoyés dans un hôtel juste à coté et de qualité inférieure. Nous n'avons pas bien compris la raison de ce changement. Personnel très aimable. Chambres un peu petites et voie ferrée trop proche mais pour le temps que l'on y reste ce n'est pas très gênant.

excellent emplacement
excellent séjour dans cet hotel , personnel tres sympa, accueil impeccable, idéalement placé à quelques minuites de la Mosquée bleue , de Sainte Sophie, par contre, le petit déjeuner proposé est assez minimaliste.

Short walk from hotel
evitez le grand bazar, les prix des objets sont multipliés par 2 par rapport aux petites rues voisines, dans tous les cas, il ne faut pas hesiter à marchander.

Excellent choix !
On est au coeur du quartier touristique et par ailleurs le système de transport en commun permet de se déplacer facilement. Istanbul est une ville agréable et très dépaysante. Les turcs sont très accueillants et très gentils. Je recommande cette destination.

Ideal für Städtereisen
Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren zu Fuß zu erreichen. Schade, daß kein Deutsch gesprochen wurde. Die herumstreunenden Katzen auf der Frühstücksterrasse und auf dem Balkon waren etwas unangenehm. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Das Hotel würde ich für Städtereisende weiterempfehlen.

mesquinerie
Excellente situation, personnel agréable. MAIS chambre exigüe, linge de toilette à bout de souffle, vue sur le Bosphore d'un côté avec en prime le train sous la fenêtre, de l'autre côté vue sur la rue sauf une chambre avec vue sur les toits de la mosquée bleue. Le pt déjeuner était "inclus" MAIS supplément demandé pour jus d'orange pressé ou omelette: mesquin. Après prospection locale: mauvais rapport qualité-prix que ne justifie pas la mise en avant de l'aspect "maison ancienne".

We had a very nice stay! However, its a personal thing whether you like the Hotel. You will like it if you: - like the style (look at the photos) - love nicely and consistently designed interior - want to have drink or meal on on the restaurant terrace with a wonderful view over the Bosporus You won't like it if you: - insist on solid craftmanship of housebuilding (if yes, are you sure you will like Istanbul?) - don't like to change rooms in case you are not 100% satisfied. Some rooms don't have WiFi coverage. There are quiet and not so quiet rooms.

Der Gast zählt nicht viel
Beim Einchecked konnte man uns nicht erklären, warum wir erst noch 15 min. auf unser Zimmer warten sollten; am ersten Tag wurde beanstandet, daß kein Dt. Fernsehen zum empfangen war, auf Nachfrage hieß es jedes mal "wird erledigt" aber definitiv wurde nichts unternommen; Kaffee / Tee von der Minibar teurer als in jedem Kaffeehaus, unverschämt so etwas überhaupt auszulegen und anzubieten und zeigt ebenfalls die Einstellung gegenüber dem Gast, Frühstück enthält nur das Notwendigste, Zimmer sind eher klein (immerhin mit Terrasse)

Schönes Hotel
Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur blauen Moschee und Hagia Sofia. Alles ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Doppelzimmer war sauber. Es ist aber relativ klein und leider etwas hellhörig. Und auf der Rückseite des Hotels fährt die Vorortbahn vorbei. Nachts haben wir sie aber nicht mehr gehört. Das Restaurant bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den Bosphorus.
