- Hotel Sax Prague hotel room facilities are as character filled as the hotel itself. There are a total of 22 rooms incorporated in the four floors. Each of hotel's suites in Prague is distinctive in decor and is equipped with air conditioning, a safe, an LCD TV, a DVD player, a notebook with a Wi-Fi connection, a mini bar and a telephone among other amenities.
The designer furnishings in each room, like those found in common areas, primarily consist of restored original pieces by distinguished artists of their time. Immerse yourself in 60s motifs by Warhol, or discover Colanis designer shapes, and in other places you will encounter Eames or Guzinni. And even if you come back to stay with hotel repeatedly at Hotel Sax, you will never stay in the same room twice unless, of course, you wish to.

funky, immaculate and superb!
a perfect hotel!..they let us check in at 10am which was great after coming from the US...a fun atmosphere, room and lounge area beautiful, 4 pm "tea" time...included wine and coffee, little lounge area, superb buffet breakfast plus you could order from a menu, internet in the room! The only negative (and not always considered a negative) is it's located on the castle side and most sites are across the bridge..but the ubahn is only a 5 min walk...but the hotel is within walking distance to the castle and petrin hill.( The "fitness" center was really just a treadmill).We couldn't have been happier there though. A+

Sightseeing tips:

a real find was going to the Mucha Museum (art deco artist)..and then going to the "municipal house".a stunning building in art deco not discussed much in the tour guide books but absolutely fabulous. TAKE the tour at the municipal house..it's not offered very often during the day, but it was fantastic!! there's a restaurant in there,and it was used for entertaining with large ornate rooms with unique architecture, stained glass windows, decorations and lighting.
