La Boutique Hotel Prague

Seul bémol, une toute peite salle de bain avec une douche très exigue. Table de lavabo plutôt moche et gondolée et cuvette peu pratique. Sinon, tout le reste est bien

This was deplorable! We spent 2+ hours trying to find this hotel before we gave up and went to a nearby Ibis. After walking the street block that was listed on the Orbitz invoice and not finding the place, we tried to call the phone # and no answer. Asked taxis drivers, local residents, other nearby hotel concierges, restaurant hostesses and even two polizei -- none had seen or heard of it. Finally, we got an answer at the phone #. It was rudely answered and we were informed that it was a property manager's cell phone, not the hotel's. After explaining which hotel we were looking for, he argued with us and then gave us directions to a different location than is posted on Orbitz. It was another block over, different street name, and tucked into the back end of a dead end street next to a brewery. We refused to stay after this fiasco so I cannot tell you anything about the interior.

It was clean and nice!

The hotel was located in an area which was very nice. We could walk to the bus station and the metro station very easily. The room was small, but we don't usually spend a lot of time in hotel rooms when traveling. The breakfast was great. We had many choices such as cereal, eggs, toast, yogurt, juices, hot beverages, cheese, meat, vegetables, and fruit. It was more than we needed. The hotel staff was very nice and allowed us to stay an extra 1 1/2 hours so that our family that was meeting us could freshen up a bit. We would recommend this hotel to travelers in Prague.

Hotel very clean, decor good. Rooms average size, bathroom although a little small was good. Staff were helpful, the first room we had the bathroom floor was flooded, reported this to reception and was immediately given another room without any problems. The breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold food. Location was very good, although a little way from the main tourist area (reason we booked here) the public transport links were excellent and only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Negatives: TV had 5 channels of which only 1 worked (CNN news) but didn't go to watch TV so wasn't a major problem. The rooms could have done with tea/coffee making facilities but we already knew this from previous reviews so took a travel kettle. All in all a very good hotel and will certainly be booking there again. Andel itself is an excellent base with plenty of cheap restaurants and bars. Far enough out to avoid stag/hen parties but close enough to make travel into Prague centre easy.
