- The Golden Well Hotel is located below the walls of Prague Castle and surrounded by the Castle rose gardens in the quaint Mala Strana or "Little Quarter" of Prague. This beautiful historic building is just a short walk away from some of Prague's most impressive sights, including the Charles Bridge, the Royal Gardens, St. Nicholas Church and the Old Town Square. During the summer months our guests are privileged to use the Emperor's private entrance, which leads directly to the Royal Gardens. - Our elegant U Zlate Studne restaurant (At the Golden Well) offers guests a choice between the intimate main dining room, which seats 26 guests, or the rooftop terrace which is able to seat 38 people. You can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Prague while relaxing by the classic Czech or innovative international cuisine. The "City of 1000 Spires" provides a spectacular backdrop to a relax dining. After your lunch you can enjoy a walk in the gardens of the Prague Castle. The direct entrance to the gardens from the restaurant terrace used to serve as a private entrance for the Emperor Rudolf II. Award winning Executive Chef Pavel Sapik is a member of the Czech national culinary team and a gold winner at the Culinary Arts World Competition which was held in Singapore. Carefully selected wine list compliments the appetizing menu and together with excellent service ensures a memorable dining experience for our guests. Special group or buffet menus are also available.

Great, Wonderful; BEST I have EVER HAD,
Beds Clean and Comfortable. Staff was coustous and very helpful. Facilities were spottless ane useful. Free cookies ane wine everyday. I can not recommend it highly enough? What a contrast to the dump that I am staying in now in Paris for twice the price. As the books have it the service people everywhere are rude not helpful. We will NEVER return to Paris.

Amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel offers free snacks and drinks everyday from 4-6 and a lovely dessert bedside at turn down each night. Location is convenient to the castle as well as the Charles Bridge.

Must try Terasa restaurant in hotel. Make reservations early since they get booked quickly. Food is amazing. Best in Prague.

Great Hotel
The hotel service was great. Our room was noisy. Building is old, but recently remodeled. Views are wonderfull. Easy entry into the castle. Would definitely stay there again.

This is the hotel to stay in Prague.
This is the hotel to stay in Prague. Right on the steps of Prague Castle. We had the best time and we will return. Rooms were fantastic staff were impeccable. The views from the hotel are not to be missed. So when you visit Prague next this is the place you must stay.

Don't think about staying any other plac
I have traveled all over the world. Stayed in a few hotels that were more elegant, they also were much larger. This was one of my finest hotel experiences in the world. Only 15 rooms. All with a view. Mine overlooked the city and a garden of Prague Castle. The service and concern for their guests makes this a hotel experience not to be missed.

Fantastic welcome, staff made every effort to be welcoming. Good location for castle and for walking to Old Town Square, up 210 steps to Castle though. Overall a good experience
