EA Hotel Royal Esprit

Hotel bien situé, à quelques centaines de mètres de la place principale de Prague. Chambres confortables & propres. Petit déjeuner classique. Rien a repprocher à ce prix là ! Vaut un très bon 2 étoiles en France.

At first, I requested 2 single beds for the room via email. Hotel did not give a reply regarding my request. Before staying in this hotel, I was staying in another hotel in Prague, thus I did visit the hotel two days prior to tell my request. Receptionist took my request.When I came to stay at the hotel, the new receptionist told me that there is no such request. When I entered the room, I saw one kingsize bed. I went to the reception to discuss the issue. Receptionist told me that there is no other room, and told me that the beds can be separated. Receptionist did not send anyone to room, thus we separated the beds and arranged the room. The room should have been non-smoking room, but I hadn't seen a such smoked room. At night, we had to open the window to sleep, just not to smell cigarettes. There wasn't enough towels for 2. As a total, it is not worth 4 stars, can be 2.5 at most.

Hotel Royal Esprit is an inexpensive hotel with a good location in the Old Town of Prague. The staff was very friendly and assisting when asked about directions around the city. The room was quite large and clean. The room didn't have a safety deposit box but we kept our valuables in a locked suitcase which didn't get burglared or stolen while it was in the room. Here are negative things: The receptionist refused to call us an AAA taxi, they only get you their own taxis. We would've gotten a 47% discount using AAA taxi but we didn't benefit since the hotel would not call us a cab from that company. The bathroom lacked a shower curtain so the floor got very wet after taking a shower in the bathtub. There wasn't a sewer either so the water stayed on the floor until it dried by heat. The TV was a disappointment, only one channel had English programs and that was Eurosport. I know you don't go abroad to watch television, but to get the news and weather in English would've been great. Their website said there would be an internet connection but I didn't see a RJ45 jack in the room and there wasn't a WiFi either. The pillows were uncomfortable, my neck was really sore after sleeping three nights there. All in all, given the great location, cheap price and good service I recommend this hotel to all Prague visitors.

A very neat and cosy hotel, well-located within walking distance of all major central locations. Fairly small, well-furnished and equipped rooms (even a selection of various glasses for drinks). Many fine details - safe deposit box, free internet (though wired), possibility to leave luggage in advance/after checkout. Fair breakfast (there is a choice and variety to start off). Warm and welcoming staff.

Adequate,conveniently situated

３月にプラハへ一人旅をしました。外観はごくシンプルだし、狭い道沿いにありますが、最寄駅へはとても近くて便利でした。旧市庁舎までも歩いて女性の足でも５～７分くらい、ほとんど歩いて観光できました。お部屋も広めだったし、内装もモダンできれいでした。朝食も品数は少ないものの、パンもハムもおいしくて満足です。支配人のFararさんもとても気さくな方で、一人だった私に優しく声をかけてくれました。目の前には良心的な両替店があることを受付の方が教えてくれたり、とても助かりました。料金を考えても、かなりお得なホ ルだと思いますよ。
