Brilliant Hotel
We stayed at the Ibis Bophut last December apart from 4 days of rain it was excellent, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned every day and the housekeeping staff very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was very filling could do with some good old bacon and sausages. We visited the Big Bhudha statue and the chinese lady monk not far away. We couldnt have asked for a better trip. There are no comparison to this trip, it was so good that we are doing it again in September but only with more people. Found a beautiful tailor in Fishermans Village, James Tailoring they can make anything that you want them to make.

Short walk from hotel
Found some really nice restaurants in Fishermans Village, tailors, souvenir shops - you have to haggle a bit with prices. The market in fishermans village later Friday afternoon is great

Room is small but relatively ok. The room has a small toilet and also a small balcony. I'm not sure if this hotel is very new, the water for the tap is very milky and smell of cement. Water from the shower cap is clear though. Overall is not too bad.

This was a great surprise! I have
This was a great surprise! I have stayed at many IBIS hotel around the world, but this takes the price! You had more of the feeling being at a luxury resort than an ordinarie hotel. Located right on the beach in Bophut with a pool and everything you can wish! Close to some delicious sea food restaurants, but away from the hectic life of Chaweng Beach! Absolutely Perfect!

Rooms adequate but small and completely
Rooms adequate but small and completely soulless. Lots of 'issues' with check out procedure and payment (some confusion about deposit paid online and restaurant staff insisted I had checked out before I had - key in hand and all). Pool area nice. Beach nice (if hard to walk on). A bit far from the Fisherman's Village to really be connected to the heart of Bo Phut. Not what I'd want for my whole Samui experience but have certainly stayed in far worse places.
