Combining privacy and intimate ambience, Le Meridien Koh Samui Resort & Spa provides a suitable destination for a romantic tropical getaway in Koh Samui. In addition to engaging in water sports and sunbathing at Lamai Beach, tourists at the luxury resort can also see the mummified monk at Wat Khunaram and the collection of marine life at Samui Aquarium. Vacationers can check out Na Thian Butterfly Garden less than eight kilometres away.

Le Meridien Koh Samui Resort & Spa features leisure facilities including ocean pool, resort pool, spa and fitness centre. Convenient services like luggage storage, wireless Internet access in public areas, dry cleaning/laundry, parking and tour desk are available. The resort can also host business or social events at its equipped function room.

Location

Le Meridien Resort & Spa is situated on the south eastern part of Koh Samui directly facing the Gulf of Thailand. Holidaymakers have easy access to Samui Golf & Sports Center and Bophut Hills.

From Samui airport turn left onto access road. Drive approximately 3 km then turn left onto road number 4171. Drive for 6 km then turn left onto road number 4169. Continue driving for another 10 km. Gurich Samui is located on the left-hand side of the road.

Diners at Le Meridien in Koh Samui sample international cuisine in an al fresco setting at Latest Recipe on site. Enjoy beverages, cocktails and snacks at Latitude 9 and Plunge Bar.

All 77 Asian-inspired villas and suites fitted with Feng Shui elements, air conditioning, bathroom, refrigerator, mini bar, iPod dock and LCD TV. Some units come with balcony, private pool and sitting area.

Boutique Hotel - no holiday facilities

The rooms are of exceptional standard, however the hotel is not recommended as a beach resort, there simply is no beach, you step out of the pool area and are virtually in the water, there is no sand to relax on. There is no water sports offered and we found the resort to be very claustrophobic, it is very long and narrowly designed.

Take a taxi to the main shopping area and there are plenty of good restaurants offering the finest of seafood at a fraction of the price offered at the hotel restaurant.
