Coconut Villa Resort and Spa

A nice resort located right on the beach in a quiet and isolated surrounding. If you want to be away from the hectic life of Chaweng neach, this is the place to go.

We had the seaview villa which was an amazing value and location within the resort. It had the best views with an own garden, 3m to the pool and no more than 10m to the beach. It was decoratively lit, with a spacius bathroom and a free wi-fi internet. Another 10m to the restaurant with a waterfront terrace. Just lovely... Thank you Coconut. We will be back.

The hotel looks good on first sight, but has a lot of deficiencies. Yes, I chose the remote location on purpose, but I didn't realise, it was the only hotel at a very lonesome beach. There is really absolutely nothing within walking distance, no restaurant, no shop, no nothing. And the staff of the hotel bluntly takes advantage of this fact: too expensive, for Thai habits an insufficient service. The hotel is 2 years old but already starts to fall apart. The bar is unusable, the restaurant and bungalows ok, but have no atmosphere. The beach looks nice, but no matter how far you walk out, the water won't reach much higher than to your knees - perfect for little kids. If you stay there, rent a motor scooter to have the chance to escape once in a while!

Gentle breeze, tranquil atmosphere,hospitable staffs,spotless clean garden and room;with more frequent free shuttle buses to Lamai,Chaweng and Nathon to cover its bad location,it can be a very wonderful resort.

This place is AMAZING! After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned about the remoteness of this hotel but it proved to be one of the best things about this hidden gem. We had an amazing stay at the Cocount Villa. The staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful, attentive, and responsive. First class service all the way! The Hotel is small and quiet but the rooms are modern, luxurious, and comfortable. The pools are great with one on the beach and a larger one in feet from your bed. It was so quiet and peaceful located at a private beach. The only people on the beach are people from the hotel and the beach is huge! Other posters described the food at the resort as being expensive, but it's a resort! What do you expect! It is expensive for Thailand but still cheaper than any American Resort or any other resort I have stayed in. Also we did find down the beach a little house/restaurant with a simple sign labeled "Food and Drink" with two women that cooked everything from scratch. It was half the price as the hotel food and was amazing. Breakfast was included at the Hotel, have lunch there, and dinner is around $20 for two. We found the rates to be very reasonable for the sea view villa which I recommend getting, and food and drinks included it proved to be an amazing value. The hotel provides a free shuttle to other more populated areas of the island and I would recommend using and visiting them. The busier areas are a short drive away so you get the best of both worlds at the Coconut Villa with isolation and relaxation with shopping, nightlife, and dining options within reach. I can't say enough good things about this place. We booked 4 nights and stayed for 5 but I could have stayed twice as long. Truly a slice of paradise.

Magnifique hôtel avec de très belles piscines, une très belle chambre, bon buffet du petit déjeuner, accueil très sympa, les 3 inconvénients seraient des mauvaises odeurs des fois dans la salle de bain du à une mauvaise évacuation des eaux usées, le ballon d'eau chaude qui fait des caprices pendant la douche, hôtel très reculer dans la campagne mais pour la tranquillité c'est le top, sinon très bon séjour.

Ordentliches Hotel, sauber, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, spricht gut englisch. Wirklich gutes Urlaubshotel mit Zugang zu einem tollen Strand. Man muss sich jedoch im Klaren sein, dass es fern ab von allem Geschehen liegt.

지속적인 관리가 되어지는 곳입니다. 직원들의 친절함도 여기를 좋게 만드는 이유입니다. 한가지 아쉬운점이라면 주변에 편의점, 식당들 아무것도 없다는것입니다. 리조트에서 많은 시간을 보낼 예정이라면 적극추천하고 싶습니다. 다시가고 싶은 리조트중에 한곳입니다.

This is a great, quiet hotel. It's a ways from the airport--40 minutes to an hour, and 800-1,000 baht for a taxi. I stayed in one of the villas, which were very spacious and clean, right by the private beach and one of the hotel's two pools. The A/C worked very well, and the bathroom had a separate jacuzzi bathtub and shower, though the jacuzzi part didn't actually work (but I didn't call to ask them to fix it, or they would have). The hotel is also removed from the beaches, but they offer a daily shuttle to Na Thon (a port city) and Chaweng on T/Th and Lamai on the other days. You only have a couple of hours at any place that the shuttle leaves you, unless you want to pay for a taxi on the way back. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful-- they booked a tour for me that involved elephant trekking and their shuttle service to the airport was less than I paid going to the hotel from the airport. I would recommend it, but keep in mind that you're removed from the action. It's really for people who want quiet and relaxation, though you can book tours to get out of the solitude if you want!
